Perfect cost effective hotel. Service is really good, even if most of the staff don't speak English, they are still enthusiastic and friendly toward customers' needs. My wife and I had a good night there. Room is good but too small, especially the bathroom, but I think that is a special style of hotels in Japan. Generally speaking, it is... More

The hotel is within walking distance to the train stations and temples. Guest can also rent bicycles from the hotel. People working in the hotel are very polite and helpful, although sometimes they do not communicate well in English. In the room, the carpets and sofa have stains on. I understand that it is very difficult to wash the stains... More

I was here for a conference. Stayed at the hotel for 5 days. Room is comfortable for 2 persons. Service is great. U can about ask for anything, n they'll try level best to cater to your needs quickly. The washroom has big bottles of shampoo, conditioner n body wash. Whatever one needs, it is there. Conveniently located, restaurants, shops,... More

The hotel is in a great location 5 minutes from the 2 train stations, and 10 minutes from the beautiful Nara park. The room was nice and the breakfast was OK. The hotel looks a bit old and outdated and could use a renovation. One block from the hotel you can find the tourist information where they speak English.

Stayed here while visiting relatives from Japan. We were given a Suite room upgrade so I did not notice that some rooms are small as written in other reviews. The room was very clean and comfortable and had all of the basic necessities to give you a comfortable stay and goodnight sleep. All of their employees gave us a warm... More

I’t’s 5 minutes walk from the Kintetsu railway station and situated on a main street studded with all kinds of good restaurants. The rooms are small but that’s standard in Japan. The buffet breakfast is both western and Japanese

Stayed only one night in a small size double bedroom. Paid 65 euro for 2 persons without breakfast. Room was small but convenient with a comfy, normal sized bed, ok bathroom and extra's like a watercooker. Location is close to everything: JR Station, main sites and shops. If you are on a budget do get your food in the supermarket... More

Nice hotel. Price/quality ratio is ok (however rooms are standard japanese size, meaning with a backpack you won't have any problems). It is an easy 10 min walk from the JR station and another 10 min to the temples ( and deers). Has a family mart (= 7eleven near by for getting a coffee in the morning). Best way around... More

I would have really liked this hotel if I had been able to sleep. So HOT! had a thermostat in room but was unable to have the room as cool as what the thermostat said. Mgmnt said it was hotel controlled and they could not fix it.

I stayed here on business with my partner in a twin room for six nights in mid-May. The price (19000 JPY (~110 GBP) /night) was quite high for the facilities provided, especially as breakfast was not included. Service from hotel staff was friendly and efficient, which made the experience more pleasant. Only one key card per room is given out... More
