Super Hotel Lohas is connected to JR Nara station - just exit on right and go up to 3rd floor for checkin - rooms and hotel seem new and as usual for Japan super clean. Expect the usual small size room and step up capsule bathroom. Hotel onsen was very relaxing and well kept - separate male and female sections.... More

We stayed at he hotel for 2 nights and we had a very good experience. The double room was perfect size although the bathroom was very small. We had free WiFi in the room and breakfast included in the rate which was very good compared to other properties. The hotel looks very clean, basic and must be rather new. It... More

I had read the reviews on the check in process being strange. We found it short and easy to sit and listen to instructions. They don't use room keys, but give you access numbered codes for room and entrance after hours. We liked: The location next to the train station. Full size grocery in the train station. Room was clean... More

It sits right above the connecting JR station and is adjacent to several restaurants and convenience stores. Whats best is - it is diagonally across from the main street leading to Nara Park and Todaiji Temple. Along which are restaurants (ask hotel staff for discounts) and local delights to whet any appetite. Big on the eco friendly movement, ladies are... More

Overall nice hotel - great location near Naramachi & major shopping streets, clean, organised but don't book the triple room. The 3rd bed is just a wafer-thin mattress on a pull-out drawer under the bed. The hotel should actually stop selling this 3rd bed. The hotel management was gracious enough to refund me the cost of the 3rd person to... More

The location of this hotel is not so central as one might expect - the other railway station (for private train companies) is closer to the center and sights of Nara. In any case, the hotel building is easy to find. I had some problems finding the right door (the reception is located upstairs), maybe because I was very tired... More

This was a welcome and welcoming resting place. Easy access by train or bus (the bus from Kansai airport stops just across the road) and the staff were helpful and efficient. The room itself was small, though they seemed to manage to fit most things in! A buffet breakfast was included. One bonus is the onsen, baths within the hotel. The... More

We stayed one night in a double room recently. It was next to the station which was great and the people at reception were friendly although they didn't understand much English. We found the people in the information centre at the station very helpful advising us on buses etc and you could even buy a day pass there. I was... More

The hotel is right next door to the main train station in Nara and is a rather quirky place! We stayed in room 1017 which was a very small room for two people but had a good bed and was perfectly adequate. We booked via booking.com and there was no mention of breakfast, but it is included for free which... More

This hotel is located very close to the JR railway station, which is convenient if you’re arriving in Nara on JR. The Kintetsu station is about 10 minutes walk away, also not terribly inconvenient. Nara Park and the temples are about 25 minutes walk away along a road lined with shops and restaurants. The local area is relatively quiet in... More
