like most travellers, nara is surely on the schedule but only for 1 day and 1 night, the room is tiny, like all usual japnese hotel, but the design is very well using all space. the only thing we missing here is a bigger hanger for winter clothes, the bed is hard, and sleep next to the window can feel... The location is right at the station, so fantastic. This is a newish Hotel so everything is fresh. The staff were very friendly and efficient. I dropped my luggage early and went to the Park, which is a brisk 20 minute walk from the Hotel. Nara is a sleepy little town but I much prefer it to the hustle and... More

Very nice staff. Couldn't check in until four pm, which seems to be standard in japan. Small room. Bathroom tiny. Bath was the size of, and was, the shower tray. Breakfast was a buffet. Queue and sit where you can. Plastic trays with hollowed out areas to put your food into. Horrendous in my opinion. Room nice and clean. Right... More

We stayed 1 night here, the hotel is attach to the JR train station building so is super good location. The natural hot spring is wonderful, opening time is from afternoon to next day morning so most of the people stay there shall have chances to enjoy it. The room is cosy with bath tub and all necessary supplies. The... More

Simply put this gets 5 stars for the price/quality/location ratio. We were using a railpass so here bound to use the JR station. It is literally less than a minute from the station and you can enter from the level that you exit from the platforms (no need to leave the station). Our worries on the location to the sites... Super Hotel Lohas is connected to JR Nara station - just exit on right and go up to 3rd floor for checkin - rooms and hotel seem new and as usual for Japan super clean. Expect the usual small size room and step up capsule bathroom. Hotel onsen was very relaxing and well kept - separate male and female sections.... More

We stayed at he hotel for 2 nights and we had a very good experience. The double room was perfect size although the bathroom was very small. We had free WiFi in the room and breakfast included in the rate which was very good compared to other properties. The hotel looks very clean, basic and must be rather new. It... More

I had read the reviews on the check in process being strange. We found it short and easy to sit and listen to instructions. They don't use room keys, but give you access numbered codes for room and entrance after hours. We liked: The location next to the train station. Full size grocery in the train station. Room was clean... More

It sits right above the connecting JR station and is adjacent to several restaurants and convenience stores. Whats best is - it is diagonally across from the main street leading to Nara Park and Todaiji Temple. Along which are restaurants (ask hotel staff for discounts) and local delights to whet any appetite. Big on the eco friendly movement, ladies are... More

Overall nice hotel - great location near Naramachi & major shopping streets, clean, organised but don't book the triple room. The 3rd bed is just a wafer-thin mattress on a pull-out drawer under the bed. The hotel should actually stop selling this 3rd bed. The hotel management was gracious enough to refund me the cost of the 3rd person to... More
