We stayed here for just 2 nights luckily during our 2 week holiday in Japan. We walked past the place twice looking for the entrance as it is on the covered over shopping/restaurant street, and even people working in the nearby shops didn't know where it was. Odd location, it's located on a shopping street. Rooms are nice, but there's no view. I opened the window and looked into a wall about 3 feet away. The public bath is ok.

We paid about USD 130 for the room per night and felt totally ripped off. First of all, this 'ryokan' is located in a covered shopping mall - so you can forget about any charming entrance. Once you step in, the 'lobby' is dark and shady, with some strange decorations of Japanese armoury etc. The hallway is dark and there... More
