This is a great place, it is for accommodating people for conferences I think but it is small and traditional japanese style. We stayed both in Western and japanese rooms and the Japanese room was wonderful, larger than the western one with a cedar tub and comfortable futons. Don't judge it on its low-price, it is top end. Fantastic location, the staff is not fully fluent in English, but very helful anyway. The place is super quiet and one of the best locations in Nara. Can only recommend and would go there again.

pros: 1. Just at the corner at the road entrance to the science museum, art gallery, and Todaji Shrine, and several bus stop in front of the house (direct to JR or Kintetsu station.) 2.
