This hotel is located at a street with lots of food and shops. It is also a nice long walk to the major attractions of Nara. The hotel has an old look (it could be on purpose as it is called an 'Inn') but everything is very clean and complete. We booked a double room and it was very spacious.... More

We liked the hotel's great location just a minute away from the Nara Kintetsu station and walking distance from the major sights like Todaiji and Kasuga shrine. The hotel room was also reasonably priced. The room itself was run-down and dark. The carpet was pretty worn out and needs to be replaced. The bedcovers didn't look very clean either. Soundproofing... More

Cheap hotel in the center of Nara. Nara shuts down at 7pm (or at least that happened to us) so being in the centre gives you the opportunity to explore the few restaurants or izakaya open. It was clean enough, the building a bit old as the carpet, but our room was big, European big. We did not eat there... More

I spent a night there with my Japanese friend and her daughter. We had a Japanese-Western Room. There are two beds in the room and a tatami area, where they had put a futon for the third person to sleep. It was actually quite comfortable. The bathroom is tiny, but was clean. The room provided a hot water pot and... More

Nice location right in the city, close to restaurants and shopping, and not far from the sights. Beautiful Japanese style rooms - really lovely. My tip is to stop off at the tourist info as soon as you step off the train and they will point you in the right direction. Be aware that the front desk didn't speak any... More

Stay in this hotel for 1 night in Oct. This hotel is conveniently located - just 3 mins walk from Kintetsu Nara train station (which is so much more convenient then staying around JR Nara station). As long as you study the access map upfront, this hotel is very easy to find. Though this hotel is located in a mini... More

This hotel is really hard to find but first you find it you will enjoy. When you get off the JR Line Nara Station there is a main street across the station. Take the main street, after second traafic lights on the left hand there is a small path. aproximately 100 meters you will find the hotel. Don't miss it.... More

Ok so first off, it took an hour to find this hotel. Not only is this hotel on the 3rd floor of a random boutique shop, the sign is only in Kanji except for tiny print on the bottom that says Hanakomichi... We circled the town twice and had to go to the tourist info center, get a new map,... More
