Our worst stay in 2 week vacation. Paid for accessible room and was told only available one night. They then gave us a non smoking room tho the second floor was overpowered by smoke. NOT the cleanest place-- One price for breakfast. If all you want is coffee & toast, you will pay full price. And yes indeed, the eggs... More

The rooms are really tiny, even by Japanese standards. Bed was tiny, not enough room for baggage for two people. However, the worst part was the condition of the room - it badly needs renovation. The room stank, walls and carpets were stained, some holes here and there. Somewhat disgusting to sleep in the bed. As a goodbye surprise -... More

Ideal location to spend a night or two in. Five minutes walk from the train station. Good busy street packed with places to eat and some nice shops to browse in. Rooms are very small but since we were here only one night it was manageable. The bed/pillows are pretty firm but we managed to sleep well after walking around... More

The rooms are very clean, the location of the hotel superb, just a few steps away from the jr station and in the main street, which leads you straight to the town's main attractions. There is a convenience stroke right opposite the hotel and many restaurants in the vicinity.

I've been in Nara for business and I have slept in this Hotel. It is located in the city centre, very close to the JR station (5 minutes by feet). The rooms are clean and comfortable. Free wifi, very good personnel and a low price (36 € per night for a single room, even it was an offer) complete the... More

I have just spent four days staying at this hotel and can thoroughly recommend it to other travellers for an excellent located, mid-range choice. It seems a lot of people do a rush day trip from Kyoto, however this part of Nara city closest to Nara Park is charming and quiet and well worth a few days of time for... More

Overall hotels in Japan are pretty expensive but this one is really good value. The rooms are not the smallest we have stated in Japan! The location is very good, walkable to the station and all the sights. The staff were excellent and have us a great surprise for our honeymoon! I would definitely recommend a stay here.

This is a hotel with the smallest bed we had in Japan – only 120cm for two of us! Location is very good – only 5 min walk from the train station and 15 minutes from the park and major attractions in Nara, in a very nice street with a lot of restaurants and shops. Girls at reception were friendly.... More

The hotel is well located a short walk from the JR train station on a street with a number of restaurants and shops and about a 15 minute walk from the Deer Park and shrines. The rooms are "tired" and could use some refreshing. They are, however, clean. As this is a business hotel, the majority of travelers tend to... More

Strange check-in as for the first time in Japan (5th Hotel we had) we were asked to pay the room in advance. Right after we paid they also told us, as described in previous reviews, there may be noise during the night. However, we almost didn't hear anything. The room was small but clean. Overall an average hotel I can... More
