The hotel has two towers. Japanese ryokan Tower , easy to access to Onsen and other is International Tower , you can have Ocean view at top of the hill , I think it better to choice Japanese Ryokan to easy access to Pearl Onsen so you can enjoy Mikimoto Pearl Onsen day and night. Or, you need to walk... More

There are not much to do in Toba other than to visit the Mikimoto Pearl Island and take a boat ride to view the beautiful islands of Toba bay. But Toba Kokusai Hotel is a surprise to us. The hotel shuttle bus picked us up at the JR/Kintetsu Toba Station right up the hotel's front where we were greeted by... More

Exceptional hotel in Toba I have stayed in the Toba International Hotel in Toba more than a year ago, but still hasn't got out of my mind. The Hotel is on the luxury side of the hotels in the area (I recall it has been built for the Japan Royal family weddings), and between Kyoto and Tokyo (we were back... More

This hotel is in a great location over looking the bay and all the staff are committed to making your stay as enjoyable as possible. Our room was Japanese style with futons, and suited our family of 5 perfectly; we had two bathrooms and each interconnecting room had a small separate seating area facing the harbour view. I believe the... More

There's not much in the area altogether, but the seafood is fantastic, from the Ise Lobster to Abalone, the area is also well known for Pearls. The hotel boasts a rather well known French Restaurant that turns itself into a morning breakfast buffet. The dinner isn't excessively pricey, but with a few champagnes and wines, a dinner for two could... More

Many Western guidebooks only include Toba as a brief footnote to Ise, and only one that I've seen specifically mentions Toba International Hotel by name, which is a shame. The scenery is absolutely gorgeous, and you can go on bay cruises and tour the several local museums like Toba Sea Folk Museum and Mikimoto Pearl Island over a couple of... More

Hotel is located just 5 minutes by shuttle bus from Toba station. Convenient as a base to visit nearby attractions. We stayed in the Japanese room with beautiful harbour view. The room was spacious and spotless, the futon was heavenly. Staff spoke fluent english and the service was excellent. Buffet breakfast included in our package had a wide variety of... More
