If one has access to this club, it is the best place to stay. The rooms are well appointed, spacious and has all the amenities. The facilities are excellent especially the rooftop swimming pool. It's on a quiet and safe street flanked by two embassies. The proximity to Roppongi is a plus.

We have been members here since 1995. We loved the old club and adore the new facility which tooks years to build. If you are considering membership take the plunge. Everything is top notch. TAC is a true oasis in the center of Tokyo. They offer it all...a variety of restaurants, health club and pool, library, guest suites, etc.

Wonderful atmosphere, friendly, helpful staff. Lovely venue to spend the afternoon with friends dining and wining. Menu selections were odd to say the least but the food was good, as was the wine. Absolutely delightful.

The moment you arrive you know this is a special honour. My wife and I were guests of one of the most interesting entrepreneurs in Japan and from the moment we were seated all around us were people of power. The food the service the setting with full length glass windows makes a setting you never forget . The perfect... More

A colleague and I were invited to play squash at the TAC. 3 excellent glass-backed courts and really great locker room facilities. That just touches the surface of the vast complex that has dozens of other sports to enjoy. Afterwards we enjoyed the bar and one of the excellent restaurants where the scallops and steals were top class. Definitely worth... More

Tokyo American Club requires a membership to use its facility, but it has a restaurant which non-members can also visit to dine out. My favorite one is American Grill & Bar. The TAC (Tokyo American Club) has been changed a lot, including the staff and building as well as the facility, but there are two things which have not been... More

You won't find the Tokyo American Club on the normal Hotel websites because to stay at this exclusive club requires membership, either personal or corporate, but it is worth the trouble. If you are visiting Tokyo for business you could not pick a better place. Japanese hospitality , punctuality and attention to detail, blended with the best of western culture... More

Staying in Odaiba / Shiodome / Shinbashi

Neighborhood Profile
Odaiba / Shiodome / Shinbashi
Odaiba is an entertainment hotspot with a giant ferris wheel, concert halls, amusement arcades and lots of shopping. It also boasts Oedo-onsen-monogatari, a hotspring that recreates old Edo-era ambiance and is very popular with foreign visitors. Shiodome has ultra-modern office buildings where you can often find restaurants with a great high-rise view of Tokyo. The neighboring area of Shinbashi is a district of much older commercial buildings and it's a great place to join 'salary men' enjoying a drink and snacks at street stalls under the railway bridges after work.
