I stayed here from late January 2015 to first week of February 2015. The hotel is very nice for a business stay, there are plenty of options about for food. Nearby is the JR Rail-station, and also the La La Square Mall for shopping. When checking in, your tell the front desk the amount of days you want, then pay... More

Near the station and convenient enough for business. Room was clean and had what you need for a business trip but nothing special. You have a choice of "washoku" I.e. Japanese style or "youshoku" I.e. Western breakfast. I looked at both and decided youshoku had not much going for it and went for washoku option. It was good but it... More

This was a great location for a short stopover being a 3-minute walk from the Utsunomiya station and next to the Toyota car rental. The room was small but comfortable. Shower pressure was good and there was a humidifier in the room. Check-in and check-out were fast and efficient.

Located very close to Utsunomiya station at walking distance is a big advantage for those who have business travel to places around Utsunomiya and take train travel. Rooms are spacious in Japanese standard. 2 options for breakfast available, Western - at the restaurant in annexe and Japanese - at restaurant in Richmond hotel across the road. Breakfast in western buffet... More

I stayed here with my sons (1&3) last week and was pleasantly surprised. The rooms are very clear and comfortable. The rooms are decently-sized (for a Japanese business hotel). The location is unbeatable (5 minute walk to the bullet train and about 100 (or so it seemed) gyoza restaurants. I will be staying here again and will be recommending this... More

Fantastic hotel for one night but for any longer I feel the super small size may become an issue! I stayed here with my husband for one night and there wasn't enough floor space to be able to open one suitcase let alone two! However the room is well equipped and the bathroom small but functional. It feels a little... More

If in the Utsunomiya area or even within a 40 minute train ride from your destination, stay here. a two minute walk from the train station. Plenty of restaurants around. It is new and modern. Yes the rooms are smaller, but that is standard for Japan. Yes the bathroom is a mix of the modular plastic box, yet it is... More

I've stayed here a number of times for business and believe it to be the nicest and newest hotel in the area. It is a very short walk from the train station ~ 2 japan sized blocks. There are 2 Richmond hotels, one across the street from the other. Be sure to book the "Annex" it is the newer building.... More

The hotel is at convenient location only a few minutes walk to the train station, room are bright, new, clean and well equipped. The front desk staff are also friendly and efficient. Overall I enjoy my stay in this new hotel at very reasonable rate.

The hotel looks pretty new. The rooms are small however it has everything you need. Even phone chargers and ioniser are provided! Breakfast selection is limited in its only restaurant on-site. The checking in process is quite interesting - we pay for the room upfront upon check-in using a self-paying machine by your credit card.
