In early March, I went Nikko for 2 nights staying after my Canada trip, I was traveling alone for leisure purpose so I picked this lodge with a decent pricing. Staff speaking good English, and I can see some overseas traveler working there as part-time job so the multinational culture is quiet good for me. Nothing much to complain about... More

It is located in a grim-looking grey 5-storey building immediately opposite the Tobu-Nikko Railway Station (do use the Railway Station's Tourist Information Counter - they are very friendly and helpful). The people at reception were very welcoming and allowed me to check into the room well before the 3pm check-in time as the room was ready. The grim appearance continued... More

The lodge is very well located, just across the station. It is conected with a bar/restaurant. I stayed in a 6 bed room and found it more comfier than most hostels in Japan. The bed are spacious and clean. The wifi is not that fast but works very well. The lounge is well organized. If you are on a budget... More

Good location for entering/exiting Nikko. Room was large and bed was comfortable. Plenty of hot water. Environment felt grubby and dated. Free wifi with strong reception is a plus. I don't see the point of providing a kitchenette equipped with microwave, fridge, kettle, and cooktop when there isn't any crockery or utensils provided, we couldn't even make a cup of... More

I wanna divide into pro and cons this review Pro: - great location, close to JR station and in front of tobu station - friendly, nice and helpful staff [lorenzo and jenny] - clean sheets cons: - the price, 30 usd each for a noisy dorm with 4 bunch beds so 8 people in a tiny space and it s... More

Would highly recommend to those who just need a bed for the night to explore Nikko over 2 or 3 days. A 2 minute walk from the Tobu station made easy access for trains and buses. Very warm welcome by the guy on reception who let us check in early when we were expecting to put our luggage in the... More

Whilst extremely dated, this apartment style hotel is well located just across the road from Nikko Tobu Station (a 5 min walk from the JR Nikko station). We stayed on the top floor in a corner room which had a great view over the Main Street and out to the mountains. The hotel room is cold, but an electric blanket... More

Stay in the hotel for a night to travel in Nikko. The hotel is basically one minute walk from Tobu Nikko station, or maybe nearer. You cant get the location wrong as the hotel signboard was in red color. Easily seen the moment we stepped out from Tobu Nikko station. The lobby and check-in process was superb as the counter... This is the second time I've chosen to stay at the Nikko Park Lodge. My first time was purely based on one of the best price accommodation in Nikko. The second time was price, location and an all up very comfortable stay. This lodge provides a serviced apartment with Fridge, microwave, stove and just 5 minutes behind is a massive... More

Honestly I was very apprehensive about this lodge after reading the previous reviews, but was pleasantly surprised after my 3 nights stay. The lobby and check-in process was bizarre as the counter was manned by a laid-back German guy who was certainly not your typical service-oriented Japanese. However I appreciated that you do not need to go through the lobby... More
