Whilst extremely dated, this apartment style hotel is well located just across the road from Nikko Tobu Station (a 5 min walk from the JR Nikko station). We stayed on the top floor in a corner room which had a great view over the Main Street and out to the mountains. The hotel room is cold, but an electric blanket... More

Stay in the hotel for a night to travel in Nikko. The hotel is basically one minute walk from Tobu Nikko station, or maybe nearer. You cant get the location wrong as the hotel signboard was in red color. Easily seen the moment we stepped out from Tobu Nikko station. The lobby and check-in process was superb as the counter... This is the second time I've chosen to stay at the Nikko Park Lodge. My first time was purely based on one of the best price accommodation in Nikko. The second time was price, location and an all up very comfortable stay. This lodge provides a serviced apartment with Fridge, microwave, stove and just 5 minutes behind is a massive... More

Honestly I was very apprehensive about this lodge after reading the previous reviews, but was pleasantly surprised after my 3 nights stay. The lobby and check-in process was bizarre as the counter was manned by a laid-back German guy who was certainly not your typical service-oriented Japanese. However I appreciated that you do not need to go through the lobby... More

Myself and my partner stayed here in a private room with ensuite for 2 nights. The location is fabulous, next to the Train Station and where the buses pick you up to take you to the sights. there is also a massive supermarket 5 minutes walk away. The room had a comfortable double bed, a table with 2 chairs in... More

My wife and I stayed 3 nights. We were in Nikko for the samurais festival. Positive: Rooms are huge for Japan. You have a nice size double bed, a kitchen, a small table with armchairs and even a balcony! Everything is clean. Great location just front of Tobbu Nikko station where you can take the buses that drop you in... More

The location is awesome, just a short walk from the JR station. Very convenient! We had room 505 which when we booked online was listed as a twin (no doubles were available). It is on the 5th floor and there is a lift. The view from our room was also great! The room was quite spacious and there was a... More

Indeed, this is a very cheap place to stay for a 2 day one night trip to Nikko. Its just opposite the Nikko Station and main bus station, so basically the location can consider the best. Convenience store just along the road. Restaurants available nearby. The owner is very friendly and helpful. I had a good time chatting with them.... More

This was an odd hostel. We showed up with a group of six. We had previous reservations but it was a surprise who, or why, we were there. We were told our rooms weren't ready and still needed to be cleaned. We left our luggage in the main entryway and went out sightseeing and had something to eat. When we... More
