My husband and I stayed for one night in November 2013. We really like our stay here. The b&b is located about 30 minutes walking or 10-minute bus ride to the temple area. The bus stop to the temple area and the station is a couple of minutes walking. The frequency of the buses is not so great, so better... More

We stayed here for one night during a weekend away from Tokyo, and cannot rate the warmth of hospitality offered enough. The room itself is exceptionally clean and tidy, as are the bathroom facilities. As briefly mentioned by other reviewers, the room is on the small side and the bathroom facilities are simplistic, but more than adequate. Choosing a room... More

Its always difficult knowing how long to stay in any place and bearing in mind that most people come for a day trip I thought staying one night would give us the best of both worlds. I have to say I could easily have stayed for two. This comfortable family run B&B is midway between the temples and the many... More

Stayed here at the start of my vacation in Japan. It's a small B&B run by friendly family to tourists. The room was cozy but very adequate for rest, since we spent most of the time there touring the town and nearby falls. The two meals per day were excellent, especially the evening meals. My room had a bathroom but... More

Booked through Rakuten Travel. Stayed a night here in a japanese room, with dinner and breakfast. The inn is runned by a family and meals are cooked by the owner. Very friendly, cheerful and kind family. Meals were served in the dining area, with a relaxed ambiance. The food served were all very nutritious and healthy, cooked to perfection, prepared... More

- Relaxed western style rooms and dining area - Delicious locally farmed vegetables, fish and steak - 3 different baths, all private "kashikiri" - 5 min bus from downtown Nikko - Very reasonably priced - I've experienced many traditional japanese ryokan, and this was a lovely combination of the best of ryokan (onsen, yukata, 6-course meals, kind staff) in a... We stayed here based on reviews that this was a nice cross between a homely B&B and a ryokan, and given prices of onsen places we wanted something a bit better value. Overall we were very pleased with our choice. The place is a modern style ryokan-B&B with western style rooms with all comforts, though small (as mostly in Japan).... More

Stayed here for 1 night. Rooms are a litte outdated, but clean. A bit overpriced regarding the simple guestrooms. The staff (or manager) is great; very kind and helpful. Gave us some tips and makes you feel at home. They have 3 onsens that are free of charge, which were very nice. Breakfast here was one of the better ones... More

Had stayed here for a night. Was warmly welcome by the owner. Had rented a car to drive around Nikko and this place had a sufficient parking for about 6-7 cars. After we checked in we tried out one of the three onsens. Superb!! This has a cherry blossom tree in the onsen and this in full bloom. Beautiful. Room... More

We stayed ther 2 nights, the rooms are nice and cleen. Breakfast was very good and we enjoyed the hot private bath. It's a bit far from the center but the owner was nice and offered us a ride whenever we needed.
