Lovely stay, I was brought here by a Japanese friend, loved the peace and tranquility of Niko as a city and also this place. The staff were friendly enough without being intrusive, someone told me there were better place to be while in Niko but this place was good enough

We were there in late October 2014. My brother who came here a year ago suggested me of this place. The location is quite convenience to access. It is about 10-15 mins by bus. Kono san can speak english quite well. we have no trouble communicating with him at all. There are 3 Onsen rooms where you could privately use... More

we were overnighting in Nikko and found this on booking.com for a very reasonable price. As we both snore we booked two rooms. They were small but clean and comfortable for the night. We were met at the train station by Kono san who then pointed out the highlights of the Nikko. We were told to visit the Imperial summer... More

10 minutes walk from the main shrines - a wonderful small hotel. We called the owner an hour before arrival. He came to pick us up from the train station. He took our luggage to the hotel & dropped us off at the center, not before he provide us with a map & explanations. The hotel is made mainly from... More

My husband and I stayed for one night in November 2013. We really like our stay here. The b&b is located about 30 minutes walking or 10-minute bus ride to the temple area. The bus stop to the temple area and the station is a couple of minutes walking. The frequency of the buses is not so great, so better... More

We stayed here for one night during a weekend away from Tokyo, and cannot rate the warmth of hospitality offered enough. The room itself is exceptionally clean and tidy, as are the bathroom facilities. As briefly mentioned by other reviewers, the room is on the small side and the bathroom facilities are simplistic, but more than adequate. Choosing a room... More

Its always difficult knowing how long to stay in any place and bearing in mind that most people come for a day trip I thought staying one night would give us the best of both worlds. I have to say I could easily have stayed for two. This comfortable family run B&B is midway between the temples and the many... More

Stayed here at the start of my vacation in Japan. It's a small B&B run by friendly family to tourists. The room was cozy but very adequate for rest, since we spent most of the time there touring the town and nearby falls. The two meals per day were excellent, especially the evening meals. My room had a bathroom but... More

Booked through Rakuten Travel. Stayed a night here in a japanese room, with dinner and breakfast. The inn is runned by a family and meals are cooked by the owner. Very friendly, cheerful and kind family. Meals were served in the dining area, with a relaxed ambiance. The food served were all very nutritious and healthy, cooked to perfection, prepared... More
