This is a very western-friendly hotel, with large bedroom and bath compared to a Japanese chain hotel. The overall dimensions would be small for a US hotel, but it didn't feel cramped. Micro-fridge, water boiler, queen bed, small flat screen TV, and every amenity you can imagine in the bathroom - razor, shaving cream, comb, toothbrush, soap, shampoo, etc. Also... More

Took bus from Narita airport to bus terminal, which is just about a block down the street. The bus station is right next to the train station. This makes it easy to catch trains for travel to nearby areas for business meetings. If you get confused at the train station just ask one of the school kids. All I spoke... More

Excellent OVerall! We were staying at tne New Nikko Hotel in Odaiba and upon checking in at the Palace Hotel the next day we found the service to be quite excellent. We all speak English and a little bit of the Japanese Language. They have very friendly front desk staff members, housekeeping and porter. This hotel is near the Omiya... More

It may be a little unfair to just give this an average rating as it is probably the best hotel in the area but it is set up more in the Japanese style than western so therefore the rooms are very small and anything other than an overnight bag is hard to deal with in the room, apart from that... 3 times visited Ageo on business trip but chose to stay at Omiya since this hotel was really very good. The hotel service was also excellent. Rooms are really nice & well maintained. Morning breakfast although of little choice but nevertheless is good.

If you plan to go to city of Omiya(Oh-Me-Ya) for any reason, go ahead, make a reservation to Palace Hotel Omiya. I made a reservation by InterNet, about $100 night. There are some great special deal on their WebSite. My room was a single room. Yes, it is a kind of small room, but it is big enough for me... More

Second time I've stayed here and it is probably the best hotel in the area. Then again, the other hotels nearby are coffin hotels and two star/comfort hotels. Pros: 5 minute walk to Omiya train station Close to shops and restaurants Free internet (not wifi, ethernet cable provided) Courteous and professional English speaking staff Parking available (not free) Cons: Has... It's a good and comfortable hotel in a very good location. Shopping options are also readily available with SOGO, Peach John, Fancl and Phiten all in nearby locations. WIFI is available in the room. Family mart just beside the hotel at Sonic City. There's also a couple of restaurants and izakayas just opp the hotel, a building with restaurants on... More

Its conveniently located near to Omiya bus and Omiya Train station. If you have business meeting surroundings of Omiya or Ageo this is the right place to stay. Unfortunately they don't provide Iron box for pressing in the room which is very much inconvenient for a business travelers. Even breakfast is not English breakfast most of them are Japanese food.

Great location, convenient, very easy access to the JR station and nearby shopping malls. Rooms are modern, comfortable and clean. Hotels in Tokyo are generally small so this was no exception. However, you have everything you need, bed, pillows and blanket are all sufficient and comfortable. Breakfast is also decent. All in all, a good stay.
