I've stayed here several times over the last several years. It is in my opinion the best in the area. The corner double twin bed spaces have excellent space and setup. The included breakfast buffet is better than average and service is good as well. Another notable perk is it is a 2 min walk to the Shioiri Station -... More

Stayed for 5 nights for business, the staff were very accommodating to late changes and could not have been more helpful despite the short notice. The breakfast buffet was a good selection and reasonably priced. The only criticism I have is that we did require a room move the last night and this had to be to a smoking room,... More

Excellent room (upgraded) with plenty of space, amazing views of the port, fully equipped and with the most exciting toilet I've ever experienced. The service was charming, the wifi worked well, the breakfast was substantial and the price for two nights very reasonable. Honestly, I've rarely stayed anywhere as satisfactory.

The Mercure is a mid-range hotel which part of the Accor family (Novotel, Ibis, Sofitel, Pullman) of hotels. I had a corner room which gives you more space. The bed is comfortable, strong wi-fi in the room, electric tea kettle, ironing board and fridge. Breakfast is a nice mix of Asian and Western style foods. There are several meeting rooms... More

The Mercure Hotel is a nice typical upper midrange Japanese hotel. The room I had provided an excellent view of of the harbor. The room was really small, barely enough room to walk around the bed, but that is typical in this area. There was no exercise room but that was the only major down side. The staff was very... More

I thought I'd try a different hotel on this trip to Yokosuka, so I booked a room at this Mercure Hotel. I normally stay at the New Yokosuka. I was hoping for a larger room than I've received in the past, but even though my room was a Privilege room (17th floor), it still wasn't very big. It was a... More

The corner rooms on the upper floors are nicest - companions complained about the small size of the non-corner rooms. The room is well appointed, with a smaller than normal mini-fridge, a western-sized bathroom, a desk and chair, large TV, fold out sofa and table. each room has its own WiFi. Breakfast was included upstairs, which was fairly good. It... More

My family of three adults stayed here while visiting our Sailor who is stationed at the nearby Navy base during the days surrounding the New Year's holiday. The GOOD: Excellent location! Not only is the hotel just steps away from the train station, and across the street from a nice large mall, its near many places to eat and little... More

Very clean rooms and if you ask, the view from higher rooms overlooks the harbor and all the JMSDF and US ships. Also a great room on the top floor with an unmatched view with a great buffet. Staff was very courteous and helpful; also bilingual.

The staff was very polite and professional, but that really was the only highlight about the hotel. The rooms, although basic, were SMALL. I travelled with 3 pieces of luggage for my move to Japan and I had trouble navigating through my room jus because the bed took up 80% of the space. However, the hotel is located in an... More
