shocked how small the room is, and didnt even sleep for the whole night , bed is extremely firm, its like lying in the floor although we were extremely tired. The next day, we ask to trsansfer to a different room as the room we had is really verysmall for 2 people, no drawers, no closet, so we basically just hung... Great location near Yokohama station (take south exit 12) but other than that the rooms are very old and tired. My room for 1 person had 2 bed stuffed into it and I couldn't even fit my normal sized suitcase between the bed and the wall. Potential language barrier issue, I speak Japanese so I didn't have a problem but... More

finding this hotel for the first time is a struggle. even the JR station staff don't know where the south 12 exit is. here is my experience, look for "dimond" basement shopping street, follow the street till the end, there is staircases and south 12 exist. if you have luggage, take the elevator beside. hotel is right next to the... The Hotel Camelot ("Where Epicures Stay") was once a four-star business hotel -- probably in the late 1980s. It has definitely aged, but it maintains airs of respectability. And in truth it is a perfectly nice place, though its age shows: rooms are cramped, furniture and fixtures are a bit worn, and the bathrooms could use renovating. But everything is... More

This was our first visit to Japan with our family so I have nothing to compare it to being a totally different culture I don't want to compare it to what we're used to in the US. We stayed for 7 days in August. They were booked solid. It's close to the train station and huge options of food underground... More

I am a tour operator who made a booking on behalf of my client who requested this hotel in Japan. Since November 2013 I have been emailing and calling to confirm the reservation which has been paid already but NOBODY SPEAKS ENGLISH IN THE WHOLE HOTEL. This is pathetic for an International Hotel and you cannot even communicate with anybody.... More

We stayed here for 2 nights stay at Camelot. It is located on the ‘western’ side of Yokohama sta. and can be reached within 10 mins. If one uses the underground walkway, just approach the west gate and exit by south #11 and #12. From the exterior the hotel is actually just beside the Metropolitan Expressway Flyover. The front desk... More

We just returned from a nine night stay at Camelot. Yes, the location could not be better- if you need a train, subway, or bus, it's all there at the big station next door. (At the station, just ask at the information "i" booth next to where you get tickets and they will help you get where you need to go.)Also... More

We stayed there with my family just a few days ago. the location of the hotel can't get better. it's just five minutes walk from the yokohama station (the west gate). the room we picked was twin, as we had our baby with us. the room was suffocatingly small, as the distance between the end of the bed and the... Excellent location, easy to find, so close to Yokohama main train station. Perhaps a bit over priced for quality... Not bad but needs some renovation to update it's look. Service is good (I needed an adaptor for both UK as well as mainland Europe and they readily supplied), beds comfortable, just a bit tired looking. No fitness centre (something I... More
