The hotel is ideally placed too enjoy Yokohama and to commute to Tokyo. The staff are extremely courteous in the finest Japanese traditions, room service and housekeeping very prompt and the view from our room was superb. My wife and I strongly recommend this hotel to those visiting Yokohama.

I wanted to give this a 4.5 but this is not an option. Come on Trip Advisor .... give me a break and allow fractions. First the the real positives, the location is excellent and for those here for pleasure rather than work there is a lot to see at walking distance. The hotel is also linked to a range... More

I chose this hotel for 2 reasons: 1) location - can't go wrong with a train station directly underground 2) size of rooms - we had 4 adults and 3 kids on our group and needed space. I booked the executive triple connecting rooms from expedia and they were perfect. Ample size for a Japanese hotel, comfortable for all 7... More

Lovely hotel, friendly staff and most can speak English. Rooms are beautiful, spacious and clean. The Japanese toilets are very high tech and a bit of a challenge but ones within hotel bath do have cartoons along with Japanese characters. The hotel sits adjacent to 2 shopping areas. If you walk through Queens Square to the second shopping area, there... More

Why I liked it? 1)Nothing beats the location. Lots of attractions and restaurants within 100m of the hotel. My favorite department store Markis is just across the hotel (back area). Don't miss Markis - lots of nice shops, restaurants and with grocery too. 2) Room is bigger than Japan standard and the bathtub in the toilet is really nice. 3)... More

I stayed in an executive twin on the Bay Club Floor. The room had a great view of the Cosmos Clock and the Bay. There was a small balcony where I could get some fresh air and take photos. The benefit of the Bay Club room is that you have a private lounge for breakfast and dribks. The breakfast is... More

It is located in a good convenient position, easy to travel to other places in interest. Bed is comfortable and breakfast has a good choice of food. Coffee is not a complimentary beverage in the room whereas tea is. Staff is friendly and helpful.

I had a executive twin room with a park view. The size of the room was pretty good size for the two of us, really comfy. The room also had a nice view of minato mirai, and one of the best things about the hotel it is conveniently located near Sakuragicho station (about 8-10 min. walk),and the subway is about... More

It was a choice between Yokohama Bay Hotel and InterContinental. We decided Yokohama Bay Hotel because of the higher rating in TripAdvisor. We arrived from Narita Airport and took the Limousine Bus to Yokohama Bay Hotel. It cost Y3600 and took 90 minutes. The buses are quite frequent (every 20 mins I think) but beware the bus to the actual... More

When booking a hotel in Yokohama, most of the hotels on offer are located in "Minato mirai". That's because Minato Mirai is Yokohama's modern harbour area with modern architecture, a theme park, a museum ship plus numerous shops and restaurants nearby. It's also very well connected by train to both Yokohama central station and several stations in Tokyo. The main... More
