This hotel was simple to get to from the airport and to get into central Tokyo. Not only that but it's 3-4 min walk from the underground station which is so convenient. There are a couple of malls really close by, and plenty of restaurants. Starbucks right outside. The staff were OK, were a bit rude when we were asking... More

The rooms are small and dated but they are clean, comfortable and quiet. I stayed there for a week and it was a great location to tour, shop or eat out. Breakfast was standard but with some good views of the harbour.

I've stayed at the Sakuragicho Washington three times over the past years any time i have business trip, this hotel my 1st choice. Very close to Sakuragicho train station walking distance to Landmark Plaza and Queen's Towers, Simple room , compact size , you may have problems if you are big body size :). old fashion furniture but it's OK... I have stayed in this hotel for two weeks on separate occasions. I had a great view of the harbour and Ferris wheel. The hotel has a few restaurants in the mini Mall underneath it, and I can thoroughly recommend a visit to the sewer themed restaurant that "floods". The rooms as mentioned are very small and basic with "pasta"... More

I've stayed at the Sakuragicho Washington at least 24 times over the past few years, usually for a week at a time (arrive Sunday nite, leave FRI afternoon, typical business). I love Yokohama, less hustle and bustle than Tokyo. Easy walk from Sakuragicho JR, you have the huge shopping at Landmark Plaza, Queen's Towers, 2 minutes to downtown Yokohama on... More

That was a satisfactory experience and a relatively good value for money. The room was clean and we had a complimentary wifi. The breakfast was very good and the location was excellent. On the negative side, the rooms were surprisingly small. We were also given a smoking room and it was smelly, although we had asked for a non-smoking one.

The Sakuragicho Washington Hotel is ideally located, close to rail, taxi and buses, rooms are clean and the rates are reasonable a gem of a place to stay, just a stones throw from china town, the beautiful yokohama bay area is an easy walk, with a lot of great places to stop for a beer, some food or a coffee... No exaggeration whatsoever, but this hotel is by far the one I'm most impressed with after several trips I've had in Japan. Like I've said, the location IS perfect. The moment you step out of Sakuragicho Station, the hotel is RIGHT THERE IN FRONT OF YOU (well, slightly to the right, to be exact). If you're visiting Yokohama, it is... More

Business trip, attending a conference, we got a good discount booking more than 30 days in advance. Room was small, very little space, nowhere to put bags. Although this was a double room it was better suited as a single. Very clean, everything we needed especially as we spent little time there except for sleeping. Convenient for Pacifico conference centre,... More

I stayed in the hotel for six days. The hotel is very dirty: for example there were holes from cigarettes in the floor and in the bedcover. Furthermore, the hotel smells badly. When we changed rooms, the staff did not change our luggage. We had to put the luggage in the reception where it was stored beside the boards the... More
