The reviews of this hotel are somewhat mixed, and after staying there 3 nights I can begin to understand why. The good: The location was excellent, adjacent to a subway station (easy access to Yokohama or Shin-Yokohama stations) and a few blocks from a JR station (access to Yokohama station). The room with twin beds was reasonably priced. Wi-fi was... More

For what I paid for this hotel, I am convinced someone somewhere made a mistake. It cost not much more than a hostel dorm bed for us to stay here, and we seemed to be upgraded in the end as well. The staff spoke English very well, and were very professional. The building is a bit older and so are... More

We only had one night in Yokohama, so we decided to get a little nicer hotel than the hostels we were staying in. The room was a little small, but that was okay. It wasn't expensive and we don't need a lot of room. The staff were very helpful, and the value is unbeatable. I guess the only problem I... More

if you can avoid AVOID, the bed are so used and the pillow are full of plastic bubbles, the breakfast is disgusting and expensive, the staff id really not helpful or friendly you go across the plaza and you go the New Otani hotel where for few more bucks you have a modern clean bedroom and very good international breakfast

We stayed at this hotel for 1 night, whilst we moved from Tokyo to Yokohama for a few days. We had arrived early and the front desk kindly looked after our bags for us, while we went out to explore the area and come back to check-in later. Front desk staff were great and could speak fluent English. The room:... More

We booked our hotel from the US. Upon arrival at Isezakicho Washington Hotel, we discovered we were given only 1 bed for 3 people, 2 bath-towels, & 2 hand-towels even though we made reservation for 2 adults-1older child. We returned to the front desk, asked for 2 beds and had to pay more for that, but they moved us, without... More

We stayed at the washington for 4 nights whilst travelling around the Tokyo area. It has excellent links to the centre of yokohama as it is directly next to 'Isezaki Chojimachi' station. We had a twin room which was spacious. The bathroom facilities were excellent. The only slight downside was the room was extremely hot and it seemed the air... More

I stayed there on May 2012. Room is Ok, extra size than other hotel in Japan (STD Room). Room is quite old, smoking smelling but clean. In room amenities is OK for us. You can get the necessary items at lobby. Free internet land cable with good speed. Very good location 5 minutes walk to JR Kennai Station and 10... More

You need to walk across a park to get to the hotel, but once you get in, everything is so convenient. the room is spacious compared to Tokyo hotels with the price offered with 2 super single beds, a sofa, a closet and normal bathroom with complete amenities you'll possibly need. our room is in 13th floor, with a view...
