normally a pricey deluxe hotel. situated conveniently next to shin-yokohama train station. my wife and i got tired of travelling after a day out in kamakura and searched the net for anbargain stay near by. found their 38th floor deluxe double room plan for 18000 yen room charge. the room had a spectacular view, separate bathroom and toilet, a living... Good location in walking distance to the metro network that can take you anywhere in Tokyo. Easy to find also as it is the highest building in the surroundings. Rooms are tiny but indeed bigger than the ones that you can find in Tokyo downtown. There is a decent desk to work if needed. They are are also nice in... More

This hotel spends all its money on its lobby. The rooms are tiny and have very low quality windows that will cook you unless the curtains are closed. Poor ventilation makes it worse, if you use the air conditioning the front desk can and will override it and force additional heat into your room. They claim the whole hotel was... More

Stayed 1 night prior to cruise embarkation at Yokohama - modern high rise complex with great facilities - was allocated double room on 36th floor with outstanding views - room ticked all the boxes - queen size bed, fridge, tea making facilities, good size ensuite with bath and shower and great sofa next to large window to relax and take... I arrived at the Shinyokohama Prince hotel and was greeted by concierge with a smile. Then when checking into my non-smoking room I was given a "cleaned" smoking room. When I complained they only stated "this is all that was available." I booked this room 3-4 weeks in advanced as a non-smoking room through corporate travel. When I asked to... More

This is the worst hotel, I ever stayed in my life. I will never recommend this hotel to anybody that I know. Never heard about a hotel that charges it's guests ¥1080 for accessing the fitness center. Also charges per hour (¥100/hr) for early check in.

The hotel looks nice from the outside, the lobby if very nice, and it is conveniently located near the subway and a little strip mall with food places, but the rooms are very small (not unusual for Japan) but they were also dirty. Stains on the carpet that should have been replaced a long time ago, and bad enough we... More

We just had an overnight stay in this hotel. The room is very standard and the bathroom is very old and needs renovation. I really don’t like the bathroom and don’t feel like to go in at all! The air ventilation is no good so we can’t sleep for the whole night.

Hotel is standard by Japanese size for a single, perhaps a little on the bigger side. Americans will find it small. Location is great, 15 minutes to Tokyo by bullet train. Plenty of shops and food around the hotel. The staff do have a working command of English, but speak a little slower than normal and in simple terms. This... More

I had a room with view to Mt. Fuji. The room was clean and compared to other hotels in the Kanto area quite big. The breakfast was okay and the breakfast area sometimes overcrowded. I got a free rental umbrella and the staff was friendly. I wouldn't stay there for holidays but as a business hotel it is recommendable. The... More
