Staff is really flexible on my request. The room are spacious and newly renovated. I got the twin room on the ocean side. Be sure to ask for a non smoking room if you need it. The staff almost allocated the smoking room for me. When I confirmed a non smoking room, she finally changed it for me. I love... More

Service was as usual in abundance (sometimes a little too much), lobby areas were very clean and especially a nice touch when there was a large queue, they would quickly open 2-3 extra service desks. Also, there was a person walking through the queue to see if they could help with any quick questions... That is really one of those... More

Stayed a night for Yokohama stopover. Located in the bustling Minatomirai area, one would expect a lot more from this hotel. Brisk check-in and my room had the view of the Cosmo World were all about it. This is the first luxury hotel I stayed in Japan that doesn't provide two very basic items - complimentary bottled water (so much... More

The hotel room is big and clean, I booked superior twin room, it have a good sea view. The breakfast included in the hotel fee, you can choose two areas, we choose the buffet one, it is very good taste. We drive car in there, before that I see the review said that the car park fee is not 1800... More

Very nice hotel. Dated, but not in a bad way. Just kind of feels like walkking back in time. The room is clean but looks tired, the staff is friendly and willing to help. Free Wi-Fi was a plus, with good connections. Do not eat in the hotel. Nothing wrong with the food, just expensive in my opinion. I have... More

I've stayed at three hotels in Minato Mirai on weekend trips with my family - New Otani, Pan Pacifico, and now the InterContinental. I think of the three I like this one the best, although it is a pricier than the other two most times (shop around!). The location is very convenient, a short walk to the Queen's Square Mall,... Yokohama is grand when you stay in this hotel. You within walking distance of all the major shopping malls, restuarants, entertainment, and more shopping. Did I mention you are close to shopping? You are also very close to a subway station that connects you to the Yokohama main train station. You've got to go there for guess what.......more shopping. There... More

The hotel is trying to replicate the Burj Al Arab from the outside. Inside it looks very tired. Its time for a re-fit which Intercontinental can be very good at. The rooms need seriously updating. My daughters bed had a bedspread over a sheet. I didn't think they still existed, but it was old like everything in the room. One... More

InterContinental Grand is a large, high-end hotel, which lives up to its brand name for luxury and service. My wife and I enjoyed our 3-nights stay here. We had a great time visiting some of the nearby attractions. Our room has a spectacular view of the gorgeous bay! The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. Hotel's full breakfast was outstanding.... More

Thus hotel is perfectly located on the harbour with easy access to the train station and convention centre. Restaurants and shopping is an easy stroll away in the Queens and Landmark Plazas. Breakfast was included in our tariff and we could choose between the traditional Japanese restaurant or buffet with both Asian and Western options. Both were good but I... More
