Daiwa Roynet is quite a large chain. We stayed in two in Japan and were satisfied both times. This hotel was a bit spartan, but very clean (although we didn't really experience any unclean hotels anywhere in Japan, at least in the $100+ USD price range), and perfectly fine place to rest for the evening. The bathroom was a small... More

The room is spacious than the normal standard in Japan. It gives foreigners much space to storing the luggage and tidy up the items that we buy. I only had breakfast for 1 day. Although the variety of food is not wide enough, the taste is good. It would be better if there are more warm/hot food. The service is... More

This is a newer hotel and we found it met our needs. Not far from subway. Comfortable beds. No coffee in room but you take what you will need from the front desk. Japanese dollar store just around the corner. Friend spent two hours there.

Interesting Hotel... If you get passed the formality of check in where you pay into a machine you are home dry. The clerk proudly announced I was upgraded to a better room but upon arrival found the room wasn't much to write home about. The view of a brick wall directly in front of your window kind of puts dampers... More

I loved this hotel. It was easy to get to from the train station, and was quite luxurious -- especially given the price. The room was large and inviting, the bed very comfortable and huge. I had the buffet breakfast the next day. I would highly recommend staying here, there's plenty of restaurants just at your doorstep if you don't... More

The rooms are not big, but clean, comfortable, and carefully thought out. I slept great here. The service was excellent too, on Friday night the parking guy was so kind and gentlemanly. I really appreciated how thoughtful he was. As others have mentioned, Saturday nights are expensive, but otherwise a reasonably priced hotel in an excellent location near Shin-Yokohama station... This hotel provides comfortable and affordable rooms in Yokohama that would for sure be convenient for any tourist or traveler that makes a short stop in the city. The rooms are average (for japanese standards, which means small by western ones) but the bathrooms are surprisingly big for a japanese hotel. The room also has free wifi and a wide... More

I love Daiwa Roynet hotels. They are all located in convenient location, clean room, nice large size bed, clean and large bathtub and good amenities and nice staffs and services. And comparing to other hotels, the price is low except Saturday. If you can find Daiwa where you go, you should reserve it!

There are two Daiwa Roynet hotels in Yokohama - we stayed in this Kannai one for a night, which is a short <5 mins walk from the JR Kannai station, about 15 mins to the famed Chinatown, and approx 25 mins to the Yokohama Bay area (didn't feel like a long walk for us during winter). While the hotel is... More

1st, be sure you enter the right hotel as there are few Daiwa Roynet hotel in Yokohama. We book this hotel for about 50USD through a website. The hotel located 10 mins from Kannai station by walk. bet you'll need a GPS or maps to get to the hotel. But i would say for this price, the hotel is too... More
