This is an economy hotel mostly patronized by businessmen. We stayed here while on a tour of Japan. The room was very compact and there was barely enough room to move around. The beds were very hard and uncomfortable. There was a built-in desk and a chair and a small refrigerator. There was a LAN connection in the room but... More

The rooms may be small but is well equipped with a mini water boiler and an air purifier. Within walking distance from Minato Mirai 21.. As you step out of the hotel, you can see Landmark Tower. Do pay a visit to the Landmark Tower Sky Garden observatory on the 69th floor and you can get a glimpse of Mount... More

a couple of minor problems, but not specifically for this hotel per se. I was alone and was visiting a friend in Yokohama. When he came to pick me up, I told him to come to my room and we could have a beer while I finished getting ready. He told me he couldnt come up. ( it was daytime,not... More

The second Toyoko in we stayed in. Although clean, the room was extremely small even by Japanese standards. Good facilities otherwise and self service laundry. The breakfast was meagre and the coffee the worst we had in Japan. Staff cheerful.

This is a bargain business hotel but one of the best bargains that I have ever enjoyed, without sacrifice in cleanliness and comfort! The hotel chain membership is a good value, paying off on your first stay and any in the future. The rooms are small (not a big deal if you travel to Paris or Manhattan!) cozy and clean,... More

Through recommendations from Inside Japan Tours, we stayed at several Toyoko Inns throughout Japan. We spent 4 nights here, visiting a friend in Yokohama. No one could call Toyoko Inn picturesque or charming or historic, but for the price the location, amenities, and friendliness can't be beat: complimentary Japanese breakfast, electric kettle and tea in the rooms, good A/C, toiletries... This hotel is part of the Toyoko Inn chain and is a centrally located and functional hotel. It is not a luxury hotel and the facilities are at the practical end rather than at the luxury end. It is centrally located and only a five minute from the JR Sakuragich station and right in the middle of the delightful harbour... More

Recent conferences brought me to be a member of Toyoko Inn Business Hotel Chains. As a member you have perks of easy online reservations (in English), discounted rates and earlier check ins, plus a lot more... all I could say is it is consistent all the time...

This budget hotel had been booked by our tour company so we weren't sure what to expect. We travelled around Japan for just over two weeks and stayed in Toyoko Inns in Matsumoto, Hiroshima, Kyoto and Yokohama (but they're everywhere) and found them convenient, clean, friendly places to stay. This hotel is only   minutes walk from Sakuragi-cho Station on the... More

The localization of this hotel is very practical at about 3 minutes from Shin Yokohama Station. You can reach Tokyo/Shinagawa in less than 15 minutes by shinkansen (bullet train) and many cheaper options to Tokyo and Yokohama. The hotel is also very practical like other hotels from Toyoko Inn Chain. In a little space in the room you have everything... More
