It was a decent stay - coffee provided at the lobby. Very convenient location - just 5 minutes walk from the subway. Most staff are not very fluent in English but decent enough to check us in. Staff are very helpful though and tries very hard to assist. Took a queen bed room, which was very small. The bathroom was... More

My mother and I had another mother-daughter trip to Japan, and this time we stayed at Hotel Route Inn Yokohama Bashamichi Hotel. The hotel was located very close to the Minato-mirai area, where many of the landmarks are located, and were also located nearby a subway station. The room was not trendy, but very cozy and comfortable. There was also... More

Once you get to the Bashamichi Subway Station take exit # 5, at the top of the stairs go straight 15 meters , its on your left.. The wired in-room... More

If you're looking for a clean comfortable place to stay in the middle of Yokohama, this is it. Absolutely no frills except the free internet which was great. Rooms are very small, but for a business trip it's all you need.

This is a typical business-type Japanese hotel with small rooms but with many advantages. If you can handle the hard bed, I think this can be a good choice. PROS: 1. All major sightseeing places in Yokohama can be reached by foot 2. practically two steps from exit #5 of the Bashamichi train station with many good restaurants around. 3. Exteremly... More

Stayed at Hotel Route Inn Yokohama Bashamichi for a week while attending a conference. The hotel offers all needed for convenient stay with clean, functional (but tiny) rooms, and great metro connections to Yokohama and Tokyo. The staff is friendly and welcoming but only a few speak English. The breakfast buffet consists of Japanese food only (rise, miso soup, etc.)... More
