I stayed in this hotel during Nov 2014 for around 6 days on a business trip. The primary reason I chose this hotel was because it was a busy period and all other hotels were super expensive. The hotel is in a great location with close proximity to Yokohama Subyway line (100 mts), JR Kannai station (400mts), restaurants, starbucks (100... More

Okay, so first to get this out of the way: yes, the room was truly tiny (as in: had to figure out how to get myself and my suitcase inside at the same time.) However, I really didn't find this to be a problem; it was functional. The bed and room were comfortable, although it was a tower building it... More

Sure, my single room was tiny - even by Japanese business hotel standards, but given the cheap price and the other perks of APA hotels, I would highly recommend it. The APA perks include onsen-style bathing areas, extremely comfortable mattresses, coupons that let you check out an hour later, easy check-out by just dropping your key card in a slot... More

I travelled to Yokohama for a 6 day conference and stayed at the APA hotel for 5 of those nights, it was a great option for people who are travelling on a budget. I'd seen bad reviews on trip advisor before I came, but want to tell you that they were massively overblown. The room was clean, and the bed... More

This hotel is located in the center of yokohama and the price is reasonable. The room is tiny but it is comfortable. they have got a tiny roten boro on the top floor and it is still alright. Breakfast was letting me down, it costs 900 yen and the food is bad and very few option. I may stay in... More

All of the comments from previous posters about the size of the rooms are true! Barely two feet wider than the double bed. Comfortable enough for me at 5 ft.2 but would be tight for anyone closer to 6ft and clearly very tight for more than one person. Staff had limited English but tried very hard to help. Rooms are... Please do not stay at this hotel, It's dirty and smelly. The room is very small, I couldn't even find a place to put my 1 suitcase.
