The location is not far from Hakone Yumoto station, where you can just cross the bridge to reach. Staff are friendly, helpful, and food inside hotel restaurant are great with a variety of choices. But wifi is only available at departure area.

We arrived by train, late in the evening, from Kyoto to Hakone. And not being prepared well enough, from the train station we could see the hotel in the dark but not sure how to get there. So we took a taxi, which cost 740Y, for a 2-3 minute ride.. The joke was on us, we could have walked the... More

This hotel is located in the Japanese hot springs resort area of Hakone. It took me sometime to realize that the smell of the sulfur from the hot springs was getting stronger as we got closer to the resort. It was not the smell of someone letting off sneakers it the bus. The hotel wasn't much different from any other... More

Had an excellent stay at the hotel during a week day. The hotel (and hakone) was not busy and they upgraded our normal room (25sq. meter?) to a 47 sq. meter room (for free!) The hotel is very close to the train station. The hotel's onsen is quite nice (especially the stone outdoor onsen). The restaurant seemed however a bit... More

Stayed at the hotel for one night, visiting Hakone on our way from Tokyo to Kyoto. Location of the hotel is ideal, right across the street from the Hakone-Yamato train station which is the final stop on the Romancecar train from Shinjuku station in Tokyo. Hopped off the train, walked across the bridge to the hotel and checked in. We... More

The hotel itself is worth the trip. The interiors are well done. A feast to the eye. You can tell that the designer was a man because the interiors were masculinely elegant. Hakone is a quaint old town whose attractions are centered on giving you a possibly great view of Mt. Fuji which we got. It's a must visit. The... More

Nice place, very spacious and clean. Very close to the train station. Staff s very polite and speaks good english. Room was very comfy and cool! Love it. Haven't gone to the bath cause I have tattoos, but I m sure it is nice too. The Japanese restaurant is worth visiting and a breakfast buffet was delicious.
