Right across from station (just cross overhead bridge when you come out of the station then the long red bridge across the falls). Good service, even though it seems that in the evening only one man is on concierge duty and the hotel is empty except him and a policeman. Rooms are a bit small but manageable. Clean. Free wifi.... Great location as the hotel has lift access to train station. It has a bridge way with a great view of the river. It is a short walk to the stores around the vicinity. There is also a nearby tourist information. We only stayed one night but it would be better if we extended one more night. The public Onsen... More

The location is fabulous, a short stroll over the bridge from the train station. The private onsen was also excellent and I thoroughly recommend trying it out particularly if you are self-conscious of trying the public ones. The room and bathroom were OK, not worth the price. The main issue with the room was the mosquitoes. My husband had to... More

This hotel is in a good location as it's literally a 3 min walk from the train station. But, apart from this we weren't keen on the hotel as we stayed in the old part which needs updating. We requested a non-smoking room and it's a shame these are all on the ground floor as we had no view out... More

Thoroughly enjoyed my stay here. Surrounded by lovely nature it was a great change from the newer more western hotels. Staff could be a little more welcoming and warm to make yhe stay more comfortable but location is great and breakfast was sound.

Our room was spacious enough for 5, with plenty to spare board/card games; has all the amenities expected in a hotel. Don't come with big luggage as the elevators are small though. Nice view! It's also near to some specialty stores. Convenient take-off point for going around Hakone and vicinities.

I booked this hotel through Japanican and went for the half board option (breakfast and evening meal) Very close to the station (2-3 minutes at most) and ideally situated for the Hakone Tozan Train and cable car to see Mount Fuji (beware the lovely smell of sulphur when you get there) . The Hakone Free Pass by Odakyu Railways in... More

The location is super convenient being so near the Hakone Yumoto station. Originally, the room I booked was in the old wing of the hotel. Unfortunately, that wing has non smoking floors so it will stink to nonsmokers. They were kind enough to switch us out to rooms in the new wing when I complained about the smoke smell. I... More

Tastefully furnished hotel with a good blend of western and Ryokan style. Comfortable Japanese PJs provided that can be worn throughout the hotel. Gender segregated hot spring usage for hotel patrons. There are 4 private hot spring rooms for the the modest. Reservation should be made by asking the front desk staff. The staff at the hot spring did not... More
