This hotel was our first traditional ryokan experience. Our room was located on the third floor in number 305. From the balcony It has an amazing view of the flowing river waters of mt Fuji. Right now it is 9.30pm where I have just come out of the most relaxing private Onsen experience with my wife. I am lying down... More

I liked the look of the hotel when I first arrived, but sadly my first impression of the hotel was only lasted until I entered the hotel lobby, which was big, old and drab certainly not all that inviting. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The hotel staff in my opinion were certainly the best thing about this hotel.... More

We booked a room with a private onsen for 2 nights. The hotel itself is big and some rooms are renovated, some others are not so your experience will highly depend on where you stay. The reception is really old and does not really look good. The hotel is a bit secluded but this is good given that Hakone is... More

The experience is magical. As i am soaking in my private onsen at the balcony, i can hear the laughters of ladies enjoying themselves at the public outdoor onsen. Life is good! Life is better when meals are served. Our meals are served in private dining area dedicated for the suites, with a dedicated meal captain. Good thing is she... More

I didn't realise quite what a special hotel this was when I booked it. Amazing authentic Japanese food served so beautifully. Onsen baths and lovely rooms. Traditional Japanese room but with western beds.

If you like to be treated like a king or queen this is a must go, I was there for the weekend and loved the hot springs. The all you can eat breakfast buffet was great.the One thing that was confusing was how to get to certain floors of the Hotel lolol but overall loved it all..

The hotel is long-established so that the room and the facilities are in old fashion. Shuttle bus is charged but not expensive. The food is fair. The onsen is not bad but a little bit small.

I stayed here with my boyfriend and friends for one night in Nov. I had searched around for various ryokans in Hakone before booking this one. For around 11,000Yen, dinner(a choice of Japanese/sashimi/steak/shabu shabu) and a breakfast buffet was included. The hotel is fairly big in comparison to the other hotels, and we also thought it was one of the... More
