Staying at this guesthouse was by far one of our best experiences while traveling in Japan! The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Family owned and operated. We felt as though we were being welcomed into their home. Our room was very cute, clean and comfortable. The outdoor onsen was very pleasant as well and they even give you your... More

It was the second time I stayed in the guest house, after a trip there about 3 years ago. The great strength of this guest house is the availability of naturally heated bath: There are 2 baths in the main building (where breakfast is served), one in the newer building and one outside. They can all be booked for 30... More

We stayed for one night and wish we could stay longer. Everything is perfect. Value price, friendly staff, homey room. Outdoor and indoor hot spring are available. Both can be reserved for private use. Indoor onsen is free of charge, the outdoor one requires an extra payment which is worth. We tried both and love the outdoor onsen. The Japanese... More

We were only booked in for one night but we took one look at the room and decided to stay another night! We were in the Japanese styled room which had two heaters and a balcony that over looked the mountains. Pictures alone cannot do justice to this place! The price for the night was very affordable and I recommend... More

We stayed here as part of a tour group in October 2013 and had a great stay. There was a bus stop close by which enabled us to get everywhere we needed to go. A convenience store nearby and a few small family run restaurants nearby provided great dinners. Our room was small but provided us with all the space... More

First time for me, my wife and friends in Japan. Selected this hotel because of review in Pantip (Thailand Web). Firstly, we got lost due to the address led us the misunderstanding about the location but no big deal. Even we arrived later than 6pm, still feeling welcome from the host (or owner). The full orientation was given. The room... More

During our trip to Japon we had a wonderful experience at the Fuji-Hakone Guest House. All of the staff is so friendly and always willing to help (they speak English). The rooms are cute and comfortable. The (family) staff invited us to take part with them to the festival on February 3rd. It was a great feeling. Also, throughout their... More
