Rooms are small and some even without bathroom. We booked a twin room with two double beds. The hotel has gone through renovation and is very clean. The public bath and outdoor onsen are well maintained. We like the outdoor onsen a lot coz it has different onsen at different temperature. Looking at the clear sky and soaking in the... More

Very nice and clean place to stay after finishing the Hakone loop using Fuji Hakone Pass. This hotel is only 2 mins walk away from the Togendai station. It is a good place to enjoy onsen after 1 day of sightseeing around Hakone before proceeding to Lake Kawaguchiko the next day. You can easily catch the Odakyu bus to Gotemba... More

Great location, close to train station. Limited English, but enough to check in, enjoy services. Beautiful view from the front of the hotel. Very modern conveniences. Wonderful restaurant. Would easily recommend it to Western travelers.

We were not sure what to expect when we arrived at this hotel as the website has limited English and we had to ask a Japanese friend to book it for us. It is easy to access by public bus from the Odawarra railway station although there us no luggage storage on the bus and it gets very crowded. The... More

This hotel was part of our tour to Mt Fuji, with Japan Gray Line, small, clean, we love the fresh air and the spectacular view of the green mountains of this beautiful country. We had a little bit of trouble with the communications with the employees, but besides that was a nice place to stay and relax.

I stayed for 2 nights May 17 and 18, 2014. I find the place very near the Bus stop. Just a minute of walk and you'll be inside the Hotel. Minimal staff but efficient and polite. Onsen is great and newly renovated. The Room we stayed have no good view but we can see the trees outside. The restaurant is... More

Nice, small Hotel in Hakone. Gotta come again, even though there are some points that could have been better. I'm now going to make a list to compare + and -: +: small size of the Hotel +: typical japanese flair +: location (Close to ropeway) +: onsen in the house -: no internet available, -: no bathroom in the... Went to this place as part of the Gray Line tours to Mt. Fuji. This may well go down as THE most beautiful views in the world. Mind you I've been all over Spain, Italy, France, Mexico, Egypt, Turkey, The Carribean and this spot for is just stunning. There was a storm coming in so this might have made if... More

This hotel was perfect for our one night getaway to the Hakone National Park area. Although the hallways reeked of distant times when smoking was the norm in Japanese hotels, our Western style room smelled beautiful and was pretty clean! We thought it was great that both the western and japanese style rooms were offered. The western style room includes... More

This is a basic hotel for Japanese nationals but open to anybody at a very reasonable rate. It is located furthest from Yumoto but very accessible by bus, rope way or by the lake ship. The dinner was great and the buffet breakfast was fantastic. The gender separated onsen bath is indoor only with a large view window. The rate... More
