Stayed in this hotel for one night and we were very impressed with the mix japanese/western concept. Huge king size beds, immaculately clean, with a hot spring bath on the balcony! everything else was provided, from sleepers to pajamas and yucata for dinner. Lovely to find a nespresso machine in the room. we had a wonderful japanese dinner, had one... More

We have just stayed here for two nights and had an amazing time. Absolutely everything is carried out to perfection. The "stylish room" is very tastefully done and exceptionally well equipped (complimentary drinks; nespresso machine, hair dryer, curlers, straighteners, your own kimono etc etc) lovely private balcony with own onsen. The staff are wonderful. Our butler was Miu and she... More

My wonderful time in Hakone, Japan. Beautiful blend of all traditional Japanese Ryokan concepts with the international standard hospitalities. --Cons-- Need well prepare for transportation to the hotel. It's sit in the heart of small mountain village. --Pro-- Facilities: Beautiful, Beautiful and Beautiful. I love to stay close to the nature like this. Rooms: Good quality of rooms, amenities, functions... More

What a peaceful place! Relaxing hot springs piped into your own room! Beautiful rooms, excellent amenities in the room, W-Fi, internet access. Superb restaurant with local ingedients. Not much English is spoken, for they cater to a Japanese clientel. One of the most splendid places that we stayed in a long time.

My wife and I got engaged here so I could be somewhat biased but I think it's a great place to stay. It's not a traditional ryokan but I like the modern rooms and the fact that you eat in a separate building. The issue I have with traditional ryokans is where to sleep in the afternoon before the futons... More

I have been to Hakone many times in the past. This is one of the best Ryokan to stay in Hakone area. Service was impeccable. We called ahead and they had a car waiting for us at train station just to take our luggage so we can go take the cable car to see mt. fuji. By the time we... More

This mountain resort consists of 23 rooms located in 4 different buildings. With such lay-out, this Japanese style ‘onsen’ (hot-spring) hotel will offer ‘quite and comfortably isolated’ feelings to all its visitors. We recommend that you should request your favorite room when making reservation as the atmospheres of and views from each room are very different. You are able to... More
