The room is out of my expectation, big -- enough for 1 person in Japan. The toilet is just near, and there's a room for brushing teeth, cleaning, washing clothes... the public bath is ok, good enough for relaxation after 1 day of travelling!

I wanted to leave a review because before we arrived we were put off by other reviews we read so we almost cancelled. However I am glad we did not. Yes, the Pension is showing signs of wear and tear, the walls and carpets in particular could do with cleaning, replacing, repainting... but... I saw complaints of the wifi, communication... More

We took a bus to head there. Be sure to get off where the mall is, because there is a free shuttle bus running every 20min which drop you at the B&B. The room were pretty small with nothing in particular to be recalled. The toilet and the sinks were separated. I do not remember the issue regarding the showers.... More

Good service brings good mood. Although the price is the cheapest budget in Hakone but the front desk staffs didn't speak and understand much english. Not to complain much about the communication skills as English is their foreign language so do I. But you can certainly differentiate the passion to understand and answer the question you asked with the rudeness... More

We booked a two night stay at this b&b because all other hotels in the area were either booked out or heavily over priced. The hotel is pretty cheap, but you get what you pay for. The bathrooms are shared. Showers are only located in the 1st floor bathrooms. No towels or bathroom amenities are provided. The rooms are fairly... More

Hi Everyone, I chose this place for two nights in Hakone because I was on a budget. If you are planning on going to the Yunnessun or doing the Hakone Loop then this hotel will give you a place to put your head at night. The twin room is big by Japanese standards and they also include a big couch... More

A bit of a strange place but generally good needed a bit of an upgrade. It was a bit difficult to find from the train station a few words of English would help. A good bus service close by we had a Fuji/Hakone free pass which was good.

Rooms are clean and spacious but showers are not on the same floor. To get to the rooms at least in some buildings you need to get down the stairs and then climb up again - no elevator: tedious if you have large luggage. No internet - anywhere! Difficult to find hotel if arrival at the train station after 6pm...... More

Our family (2adults + 2 kids) spent one night in B&B Hakone on May 9th and we definitely recommand not to stay there. Except the price which is quite reasonable in the area of Hakone, the hotel is not easily reachable, staff is not friendly, doesńt speak a word of english and doesńt reply to emails. Even by phone it... More
