This hotel is certainly cheap but that is reflected in its quality. The rooms are small and, more importantly, the walls are very thin. This means that every footstep, voice or door can be heard loudly at night and alarm clocks in other rooms can be heard in the morning. The beds and pillows are also very hard meaning that... More

The building was modern and clean, the beds OK, the bathrooms minimal, and breakfast OK if you like a large variety of pastries and nothing more. Showers were available down the hall or on another floor, but be sure to bring your own towel and soap - they're not provided. There is an onsen onsite, but we weren't inclined. Staff... More

Very confuse to find the carpark entrance at night as all around was dark without road lamps. After we park our car in outdoor carpark, the distance from hotel entrance to the lobby check-in with some stairs and too far with luggages. We found another entrance access by car straight next to the lobby for unload our luggages. But got... More

As expected, the guys at the reception do not speak much English, but good enough to let me know the basic information. I love how the bathhouse was not crowded at all, unlike the typical situation in an onsen. It was very therapeutic after a wet day outside. Was woken up by the wonderful smell of freshly baked croissants and... More

This place is very cheap but the service and location are pretty bad. People at the reception hardly speak english and are not really willing to help out. They first propose ne a room with a very bad bed (you could feel bed springs), and was difficult to change room. The guy at the reception said the hotel was fully... More

The price is significantly lower than nearby nicer hotels so for a one night stop over, it's a good choice. The room smells like mold, be prepared to feel the springs on your bed, but A/C works well, and the shared bath/toilets are in good order. I said it's ok for one night stay and now with the ropeway closed,... More

The room is out of my expectation, big -- enough for 1 person in Japan. The toilet is just near, and there's a room for brushing teeth, cleaning, washing clothes... the public bath is ok, good enough for relaxation after 1 day of travelling!

I wanted to leave a review because before we arrived we were put off by other reviews we read so we almost cancelled. However I am glad we did not. Yes, the Pension is showing signs of wear and tear, the walls and carpets in particular could do with cleaning, replacing, repainting... but... I saw complaints of the wifi, communication... More
