The location of this place is great. Next to the central bus stop and the train station, which makes it very eays to get to Tokyo, the airport or the nearby Mount Tsukuba. The rooms are smallish but clean and functional and they have great breakfast buffet (mostly Western fare with some Japanese items). It is close to the city... More

I stayed five days for business at Tsukuba Okura Frontier. Hotel is in a good location very close to the bus station of the bus from Narita airport. located, central and directly in front of the bus station. It is located very close to the shopping mall and therefore both shopping and eating are quite easy. Service was good, room... More

I stayed two days for business at Tsukuba Okura Frontier. Hotel is well located, central and directly in front of the bus station. Shopping or eating is convenient with many shopping mall easily accessible. Service was good, room was very clean and very quiet, breakfast was correct and for japanese standarts correctly priced. Wifi was stable in the room, and... More

I was awoken by the building being shaken by an earthquake at 3 AM on Saturday 26 October. I ran down the fire escape stairs, only to find the ground floor door locked. I could not get out. So I had to walk back up one floor, and wait to take the elevator down. There was no other way out.... More

The hotel was excellent, with good service staff. Even though the washroom in the room was a tad small (we stayed in a twin sharing room), the water flow was excellent (warm hot water!) Amenities like shampoo, conditioner, facial foam and bath foam are all provided in large bottles for usage, unlike other hotels which give out small bottles of... More

Hotel is excellent if your in Tsukuba. Easy for shopping centre several food courts. At least three large supermarkets within 500m. Starbucks and KFC easy... More

This is quite a large hotel conveniently located next to the central bus station and the Tsukuba Express rail terminus. Buses go to Narita and the Tx goes fast into Tokyo. The hotel is a business hotel and I have been using it for many years. Its rooms are a reasonable size and are comfortable, though they lack drawers to... More

My Japanese colleagues call this the best hotel in Tsukuba. That it may be, but compared to other Japanese hotels, it is simply average. On the positive side, it is quite close to the train station, the staff are helpful and speak English fairly well. There is a sort of restaurant mall attached to the hotel which offers some nearby...
