I booked a flight to Japan because I've always wanted to go and since I knew Tokyo would be my main destination I booked this hotel because the flights into Narita are cheaper and they have free shuttle service from the airport. Taking the train into Tokyo isn't too bad if you have time to commute(about 1.5 hours) but you... More

we chose the hotel because it provides shuttle bus service between the hotel and NRT. there is a convenience store within walking distance from the hotel front door. there is shuttle bus service to the AEON mall but it is not frequent. we took a taxi to the mall for JPY1000 and return using the hotel shuttle bus. hotel service... The hotel is not new but not in a bad condition. The rooms are very basic. Hard beds, thin pillows and a very thin blanket - I won't even call it a duvet, more just sheets. No curtains but sliding partitions which are not very good at blocking out light if you need sleep during the day. The location is... More

Third trip back to Japan from Australia, and with the early evening arrival on Jetstar, prefer to stay a couple of nights at Narita before moving on to Tokyo. The welcome at the Garden Hotel is always appreciated and while the rooms are now a little dated and need new furnishings, this is a good hotel and good value. This... More

There is a shuttle pickup at the airport upon your arrival. The pick up times is posted. The wait can be long if you happen to miss it. The hotel is a bit out of the way but there is a shuttle from the hotel to the Aeon Mall at various times. We usually have our lunch or dinner meals... More

Good value as most of the Narita area hotels are. Very large room by Japan standards, normal room by global standards. Basic, but clean and functional with all core amenities. 2x hourly shuttle service to the airport and Narita village. General advice for most Japan hotels - pre-negotiate your early checkin - even if rooms are available they like to... More

This hotel is my favourite as the breakfast is really nice!! OISHI NEH!!! I think that the room service is also really good and the people serving at the counters are also really polite. The wifi speed is slow, recommend 480p for youtube, emails not a problem. Overall the rooms are really nice and its a nice place for travellers... More

Another good stay at this hotel, everything up to the normal standard expected and as good as my previous stays, EXCEPT, on this occasion no dressing gown in my room, not sure whether this was in error or if they have stopped doing them. The second thing was I sent some clothes for dry cleaning during my stay as I... More

The hotel is not in a great location although limited free shuttle buses are provided. It's quiet, rooms are a decent size for Japan but the decor is very plain indeed. There's no coffee provided, just green tea, so bring your own. I find it such a daft policy to have free access to the internet in the lobby so... More

Stayed at International Garden Hotel Narita for layover. Staff were very courteous and helpful. Room was clean and large by Japanese standards. Shuttle to/from airport and shopping mall very helpful. I stay here every time I'm in Narita.
