Stay clear at all costs - the rooms smell of urine and stale smoke, the bathrooms are poxy and covered in mould. The bathroom linen is barely existent and the bed is hard as a rock. No English TV programmes, poor quality food in the restaurant. No air con (it's controlled by the hotel) and staff who couldn't care less... More

Definitely the best located hotel in Narita in terms of visiting the old town and Buddhist complex there. The hotel has a nice buffet in the restaurant and a nice bar with pool table / darts which was a nice way of passing an evening with our teenage children. Compared to other hotels we stayed in the rooms, although immaculately... More

Location is to far from Narita Airport takes 30 min by shuttle bus. You can't set air condition temperature! Good thing is you are in a small city so have some things to do. Rooms are too noise and too old. I do not recommend.

My family and I stayed here overnight due to a cancelled flight back home to Brisbane. Now let's get down to business; The positives? Big hotel room, great service, and close to everything central in downtown Narita. The negatives? no HOT water, I'm big on a hot shower - took one late at night and absolutely NO hot water -... I stayed here for a short stop over as I had a late flight into Narita and an early flight the next day. It is really easy to get to from the airport a short train trip or the shuttle they offer. The shuttle doesn't come as often as you would think and took a while in the traffic so... More

This hotel is very convenient as it is a 2 minute walk to JR and metro stations at Narita and a 10 minute train ride from the airport. It is very handy for catching early flights or late arrivals. (Note that the Narita Express will not stop at Narita.) The room was small but adequate and the buffet breakfast was... More

Let me premise this review by stating that this hotel is by no means a 5 star western hotel, however; it has a lot more going for it than most of the hotels in the area that are superior in quality. Firstly the negative, the rooms are small and the bathrooms are also tiny, but not something that is going... More

Sure the location is great as it's right next to Keisei-Narita station but the bed was so uncomfortable - felt like sleeping on raw springs all night. The bathroom was small and smells funny.. it almost looks like the inside of a caravan trailer. The room itself was ok and had AC as it was in the middle of Summer... More

The Mercure Hotel Narita is in Narita town ideally located right next to Narita JR train station and the Narita Keisei train station. I travelled from Narita Airport on the complimentary shuttle that I easily located outside Terminal 1.The shuttle doesnt run to a half-hourly/hourly timetable but has set adhoc times and I would recommend you consult the timetable before... We had a morning flight back to the US so decided to spend the night before at an airport hotel. We took the train and the hotel was just around the corner from the station. We had a large room which was clean although a bit dated in decor. Staff was very helpful. Hotel lobby area was nice as well.... More
