I had planned to stay in Tokyo the night prior to departing from Narita Airport, however, after reading reviews I booked this hotel in Narita. Great decision. Took the shuttle bus (20 seater) from the airport to the hotel which provides good, clean, and comfortable accommodation. The location allows you to walk easily into old Narita village where there is... More

Have stayed at the Richmond Narita on two different trips to Japan, once in 2012 and then in September this year. Both times we've got an incredible deal on a room - try Japanican - and have been very impressed by the services the hotel offers. The rooms are clean, quiet, and comfortable, and the hotel provides a regular transfer... More

I stayed at the Richmond Hotel Narita for a night before flying to Myanmar. The hotel is perfect for a one-day layover. The room is clean with everything you need (wifi, complementary coffee and tea). When checking in, the staff even provided a collection of bath salts for a nice relaxing bath. There is a free shuttle service to Narita... More

The Richmond is well located in Narita village close to Narita Airport - they have a shuttle that run several times per day and the train station for both the Airport and Tokyo city is also a short walk away. Narita hotels, including the Richmond are great value and usually only about a third of the price of hotels in... More

Probably like most visitors, we stayed at the Richmond Narita only one night. It is a clean, efficient, very convenient option for a pre-airport departure stay. The shuttle service to the airport is a significant bonus. Room style is western. The wifi is OK and breakfast adequate. Frontdesk slightly frosty. Price very reasonable. Highly recommended.

This hotel is very comfortable and well located for a stopover when flying out early from Narita. Tokyo traffic can mean delays in getting to the airport. The courtesy bus does not appear to run as frequently as the pricier hotels and we had to wait for about 45 minutes upon arrival. In the morning the bus was ready and... More

We stayed one night on our way home from Japan and Narita airport. We appreciated the free shuttle from and to Narita (do book the evening before for the morning shuttle from the hotel to guarantee your place, the shuttles are rather small). Reception at arrival and checking out was smooth and professional. The hotel is modern, fresh and clean,... More

After becoming tired of the standard Narita transit hotels, with their dated decor, middle of nowhere locations and overpriced dinners and breakfasts, I decided to give the Richmond a try. They run shuttles buses from the airport roughly every hour. I missed a bus by 5 minutes, so instead took the Keisei Train line to Narita town, which took 15... More

Stayed here the night before flight back home. We took the shuttle bus from Tokyo airport to the hotel. Going to the Richmond we had one suitcase and hand luggage. The shuttle bus was a good service but quite squishy.Even just boarding with just hand luggage it was a squeeze. It was just as well we did not have our... More

Stayed in Richmond 3 times in July and August 2014 for single nights pre/post flights to/from New York and Vietnam. Richmond is about 60 -80 minutes to Tokyo Station so it is a long way from the sights. That said, if you want a very friendly, efficient, comfortable, safe and clean place to sleep minutes fromm Narita Airport with free... More
