The Richmond Narita is clean and spacious (double bedrooms ) according to Japanese standards. It is a little further away compared to APA which is just steps away from the train station. Like APA hotel, you are requested to check in at the automated terminal which makes it less personal. (Again, typical of Japanese business hotels). Nothing special about the... More

The Richmond Hotel is part of a chain that operates throughout Japan and is an above average 'business hotel' with all you need for a short stay. The hotel is within easy reach of shops, bars, strip clubs and restaurants - very unlike many airport lodgings around the world. As you reach Narita Train Station (72 mins by train from... More

First of all, let's just state that Richmond is indeed the best hotel in the entire Narita village area. It's clean, the rooms are considerably spacious, the Internet is fast and the location is near to the station and everything else in the area. Like a well-oiled machine, you are guided to the self check-in kiosks to pay for your... More

We stayed here for two nights before an early flight back to UK rather than returning to Tokyo. Room was fairly basic but clean and with everything you could ask for. Staff were helpful and friendly. The restaurant was reasonable although portions small for main course salmon. The temple complex in Narita is definitely worth a visit. We spent a... More

Absolutely fine for a one night stay. Everything provided and very well run. Small but adequate room. Shuttle bus runs at 10 past the hour and is very efficient. If coming from Narita airport get off ( after about 5 minutes) at Narita , don't go out to the street. Go straight ahead from the ticket gates , down 4... More

Since we were arriving in early evening, we had made the decision to spend the first night closer to the airport and travel into Tokyo the next day. On the chance that we would be awake enough to enjoy the town, we chose this hotel in the center of town rather than one right at the airport where we figured... More

Great hotel - just wished they had better restaurant hours as we got in after midnight. Staff were not very much help in finding a place to eat - we found a little restaurant less than 1 block away. Hotel was clean, quiet and had very comfortable beds/pillows. I would recommend this hotel to anyone, close to the Keisei train station... More

Without exception, every time I have been staying this hotel for the first night arriving at Narita New Tokyo International airport. It is not easy to get free hotel shuttle from the airport due to frequency of operation, but by taking Keisei main line I can easily to get there in half an hour after departure of Narita airport station... Loved everything; except we wish they have a 24 hr restaurant or room service, and an hour or two later shuttle service from the airport like the other hotels do. We arrived Narita at 9pm, and taking the train and walking to the hotel in the dark with kids was inconvenient.

Stayed 1 night in March 2015. Richmond Hotel Narita is conveniently located within easy walking distance of the Keisei train station. The JR rail station is slightly further away but still within walking distance of the hotel. Given the frequency and cheap cost of the Keisei trains I took the train rather than the free shuttle bus that runs less... More
