Stayed in this hotel for 6 days during my recent business trip in Jun 2014. From Narita airport, there is a direct limo bus that goes to this hotel. It is very easy to purchase the limo bus ticket from Narita airport and it will costs 900 Yen. The limo bus ride is comfortable and there are also English announcements.... More

If you are attending a convention at makuhari messes and want to save all the back and forth to the city, it is ideal plus plenty to do right there if you want A nice local meal. Some beers, etc. Rooms are comfortable, staff attentive and polite. Typical Japan in a good way!

This is a very professionally run hotel. All of the staff are personable, pleasant and go out of their way to help. There is a consistency of what you will experience here that is quite impressive. The rooms are large and very well equipped, although ours did not include L'Occitane toiletries, as shown in the Trip Advisor photographs. The bathrooms... More

I stayed at The Manhattan for a trade show I was attending at Makuhari Messe. It is an older hotel with sort of an "antique" look and feel, but it is very well maintained and cozy. I flew into Narita and took the airport limo bus which, by the time it stopped at a couple other hotels along the way,... More

I've been staying here for about 7 years and each stay is a delight. Wonderful staff, great rooms. Ask for a high room with a view of the bay and Tokyo....on clear days you'll have a wonderful view of Mt. Fuji. An earlier reviewer mentioned there is no bar...the top floor has a great cocktail lounge. No, there is no... More

I stayed at this hotel for 5 nights while my husband was attending a conference at Mahuhari Messe Conference Centre. On arrival, the foyer is large and spacious, complete with uniformed young ladies falling over themselves to help with luggage. Checking in is quite a different experience from any I have had before, seated in plush armchairs while the details... More

Really nice refined atmosphere in reception and public areas. Quiet locality but walking distance to station and 30 mins into Tokyo. Spacious room with sitting area, nice bathroom. Great breakfast although lunch menu a bit limited. Staff friendly and efficient.

I stayed at The Manhattan for 3 weeks while working in the World Business Garden. A very nice room with excellent amenities. My only negative comment is that there is only one English language channel on the tv, and you can only take so much CNN! The staff is uniformly friendly and helpful. It is an easy commute by train... More

This hotel is located in Chiba. Chiba is an old Soybean area that was industrialized about 20 years ago. It is out there meaning 40-60 minutes from everything. That said this is a good place to stay as it has a nice international flavor and it has more than 5 floors devoted to non-smoking versus 2 in many others. There... More

Stayed here with my wife and 2 yr old daughter for two nights. We had a friend book the hotel through a Japanese-language website for about 40 percent less than through English-language websites. The twin room we booked was one category up from a basic room, and was very large with a huge, marble bathroom. A large crib was also... More
