I stayed here last year and enjoyed the spacious rooms and the excellent service. So, I was quite surprised to find dirty carpets and worn upholstery in my room. I asked for a different room; it was even worse. I asked for a third room and it had too much of a cigarette smell to it. So I went back... More

Had a very comfortable stay and credits have to be extended to ALL the staffs , the moment when you check in till the time you leave , when they have a female porter to ascot you with your baggages to the bus to take you to Narita Airport. It's location was spot on for anyone attending the exhibition ,... More

Located 30 mins by train from Tokyo center, a min or two walk from Kaithin-Makuhari rail stn and about 45 mins by taxi from Narita Airport. Stayed twice for business in Chiba, location close by.8 It is a pleasant olde world hotel with quite ornate decor inside, the rooms are clean but a little tired. Service is superior, staff most... Stayed in this hotel for 6 days during my recent business trip in Jun 2014. From Narita airport, there is a direct limo bus that goes to this hotel. It is very easy to purchase the limo bus ticket from Narita airport and it will costs 900 Yen. The limo bus ride is comfortable and there are also English announcements.... More

If you are attending a convention at makuhari messes and want to save all the back and forth to the city, it is ideal plus plenty to do right there if you want A nice local meal. Some beers, etc. Rooms are comfortable, staff attentive and polite. Typical Japan in a good way!

I stayed at The Manhattan for a trade show I was attending at Makuhari Messe. It is an older hotel with sort of an "antique" look and feel, but it is very well maintained and cozy. I flew into Narita and took the airport limo bus which, by the time it stopped at a couple other hotels along the way,... More

I've been staying here for about 7 years and each stay is a delight. Wonderful staff, great rooms. Ask for a high room with a view of the bay and Tokyo....on clear days you'll have a wonderful view of Mt. Fuji. An earlier reviewer mentioned there is no bar...the top floor has a great cocktail lounge. No, there is no... More

I stayed at this hotel for 5 nights while my husband was attending a conference at Mahuhari Messe Conference Centre. On arrival, the foyer is large and spacious, complete with uniformed young ladies falling over themselves to help with luggage. Checking in is quite a different experience from any I have had before, seated in plush armchairs while the details... More

Really nice refined atmosphere in reception and public areas. Quiet locality but walking distance to station and 30 mins into Tokyo. Spacious room with sitting area, nice bathroom. Great breakfast although lunch menu a bit limited. Staff friendly and efficient.
