This hotel is just fine if you need a room for an exposition at the Makuhari Messe which is next door. The other smaller hotels in the area are nicer, but normally filled during the shows. Rooms are average. I wanted to use wi-fi. They do not offer. Room cable intenet is 1,700 yen a day or $17. What really... More

I travelled to japan to attend a conference in makuhari and stayed in the luxurious Newotani hotel which was the best hotel in the area. I really enjoyed my stay in the hotel which was very elegant and clean. The rooms is not that spacious like all hotels in japan but very well organized and maintained. Every thing is unique... More

This Hotel is five star rated . I feel verry locked up in the verry small rooms. The staff is verry friendly helpfull no comment about this but the hotel should live in the present and not the past. In these days WiFi should be available in the rooms in this hotel only in the lobby by a cellphone company.... More

Hotel is close to where the trade shows are, and not to far from Narita airport, near amenities, subway station, malls. I noticed that there are bus services between the hotel and Tokyo Disneyland. Sadly, there is no WiFi in the hotel and no complimentary internet. Choose the rooms facing the Tokyo bay if you want a room with a... More

The hotel provides a nice base station for visits to Tokyo, Chiba, Disneyland and of course Makuhari Messe. The rooms are clean, have nice view (especially above the 5th floor) and provide good amenities. Furthermore each day an international newspaper was available outside the door. Staff is friendly and helpful. There is a mall about 500m from the hotel with... More

When you arrive at Narita Airport do not take a TAXI but buy a ticket on the airport limo bus which costs only 900 yen. The ride to the hotel takes 30 minutes. The hotel is located next to the convention centre and is modern. Friendly and very helpful staff. Make sure that you reserve a non smoking room. The... More

For a start, the staff at the reception was a bit unfriendly. The room was quite OK, but the automatic air conditioning is sickening. The interiors are a bit shabby and needs renovation. It is surely the best choice when visiting the Makuhari fair, but all in all, not really up to the New Otani standard. Breakfast is OK, but... More

Attended a wedding at the hotel. Since it is too far from Tokyo, I decided to stay here for a night. Location - I don't supposed a tourist would stay at Makuhari unless there is specific reason. The area is a bit dull, but there is a large factory outlet near the train station, selling mostly sporting & outdoor adventure... More

Convenient for the Makuhari Messe conference centre and not too far from Narita airport, but apart from the conference where would anyone come here? The whole area is incredibly empty except for roads and walkways. The hotel is adequate. It has pretentions of class but in essence it's a pretty standard hotel of it's type. It's a pain not having... More

Pros: - Great staff and service. Everyone I met were very helpful and professional - Clean, well-appointed room. - Price was very reasonable - Breakfast buffet (included in price) was outstanding - Bus service from Narita airport is only 900 yen each way and takes 40 minutes. Cons: - WiFi only available on first floor, wired access in room -... More
