My husband and I (plus a couple hundred friends) stayed here for nearly a week while attending a convention at the nearby convention center. The staff was great, the room was nice, and it was close to everything. We liked having a fridge in our room to keep drinks and snacks cold. The convention center is a 5 minute walk... More

I only stay here because my meetings are a walk from the hotel. It is a very nice hotel with a short walk to the train station to get into Tokyo. Very nice breakfast especially if it is free. Huge buffet with lots of American and Japanese dishes to choose from

This hotel is old, but very well maintained. The service is excellent. The food prices are crazy high. Pool use costs money. WiFi costs money, Gym costs money. The coffee in the room is $3. The people are super friendly. It's a short walk to the train to Disneyland, and you can take a bus for free back to this... More

Located in Chiba prefecture, near to the Narita airport. And also near to the Disney Tokyo. The room is quite large compare to the standard room hotel in Japan. The location is near to the train station and a lot of mini mart around. But it's quite far from the tokyo downtown. Avoid this hotel if your main activity will... More

Location: The New Otani Hotel Makuhari is perhaps the biggest hotel in the Makuhari area, which is about halfway between Narita airport and downtown Tokyo. It's pretty close to Tokyo Disney and not far from Haneda airport either. Makuhari itself doesn't have much to see or do - it's just a commercial area. Transportation: For most international travelers who arrive... More

Very nice hotel with a high standard service with one exception - the lack of english speaking staff. Great rooms and so are the restaurants and service there, don't miss out on the skybar, really a nice place to sit and enjoy the view. The breakfast is excellent, don't miss it!

This is a conference centre hotel...rather than a business hotel. Rooms are clean and well appointed...location is good being close to train and many restaurants....and of course next to conference centre. But from a purely business point of view there a couple of weaknesses. Meeting room is medium sized...can handle 18...22 people...but more than 25 would not be possible. Facilities... More

This hotel is just fine if you need a room for an exposition at the Makuhari Messe which is next door. The other smaller hotels in the area are nicer, but normally filled during the shows. Rooms are average. I wanted to use wi-fi. They do not offer. Room cable intenet is 1,700 yen a day or $17. What really... More

I travelled to japan to attend a conference in makuhari and stayed in the luxurious Newotani hotel which was the best hotel in the area. I really enjoyed my stay in the hotel which was very elegant and clean. The rooms is not that spacious like all hotels in japan but very well organized and maintained. Every thing is unique... More

This Hotel is five star rated . I feel verry locked up in the verry small rooms. The staff is verry friendly helpfull no comment about this but the hotel should live in the present and not the past. In these days WiFi should be available in the rooms in this hotel only in the lobby by a cellphone company.... More
