this place is indeed a fantastic budget option for solo traveler like me with its 3kY per night. Clean, good Wi-Fi, good host, warm & friendly. It is quite far (20 mins walking) from the Otaru Station. But, it's not an issue. You can take bus no.9 from Otaru Station. The bus will announce the next bus stop in Japanese.... More

At the price point of Y3k per pax, this place is a gem! Though the building is old, the toilets & shower are modern & functions perfectly. I decided to stay here based on the price, it was 3000 yen a night which is hard to beat in Japan for a budget traveler like myself.
