The hotel is built in the old art deco style. You can see it from the facade and as soon as you walk into the entrance. The little touches from the floor mosaics to the breakfast room (which seemed to be where the old bar or ballroom used to be) with its mezzanine balcony level. Reminded us of the old... More

The building itself is grand and converted from a bank long ago. Basement hotel even has a vault. However room is very small and hardly got space to move if you take the 3 bedders What is bad is they only allow check in after 3 but the car park also start after 3 and leave before 10am next day,... The vibrant hotel is a converted art deco bank with amazing exterior, great lounge and dining areas but ordinary but acceptable rooms. The vibrant is very reasonably priced so you wouldn't expect super swish modern rooms and an elaborate breakfast. You do, however, get everything you need in a reasonably spacious room and while the breakfast is basic, it does... More

As this hotel is redecorated from old building, some service could not provided. Such as no slope, window can not open, weak wifi. Anyway it is good hotel, I was back to the future and I were a 60's person. free breakfast and some paided car parking was provided

The hotel is located near the canal and next to the Sakaimachi Street. When you walk out, you can hear the music box songs from the music box store which is across from this hotel. The breakfast is not very good because it has only bread, jam, drinks and soup (but since it's low price that is acceptable.)

Stayed one night in this converted hotel (it used to be a bank) with 3 spacious beds for 3 adults. The toilet is in a separate room from the bathroom though. The hotel breakfast was just a simple selection of different bread types such as white, wholemeal and sesame (each piece sealed in plastic for freshness) with some spreads. There... More

Just like all the other reviews say, the location is great. A short ride from Otaru Station and so close to the canal and the main sights in Otaru. We stayed on the 3rd floor and the room was a decent size, we got wifi in the room as well as in the lobby. Check in was fast and smooth... More

Hotel Vibrants Otaru is located in pretty Otaru city. It takes about 15 mins walk from JR station. However, it is quite close to the city center of otaru. Everywhere you need to visit is kinda just around the corner. The hotel itself is modified from the old bank branch; therefore, you will not feel like a hotel on the... More

We stayed at hotel vibrant for one night to see the snow light path festival. In terms of location you'd be hard pressed to find a better location in Otaru in my opinion. It's a very shot taxi ride from the JR station and pretty much everything is walking distance from the hotel. The canals are steps from the hotel,... More
