We had a room with an onsen on the balcony looking out onto the sea: amazing! The onsen water was very nice, and made our skin nice and soft. The room itself was quite spacious and we had our beds made up on the tatami and slept really well. The dinner (Japanese, not buffet) in a private traditional room was... More

We wanted to enjoy a spirit of Japan when booked Yunokawa Prince Nagisatei. It is located in 10 min by car from Hakkodate JR station. Very kind staff meet the guests in front of the hotel and care during all stay. We experienced Japanese style room with open air bath with very nice view on Hakkodate mount and Tsugaru strait.... We felt like VIPs the moment we arrived at the hotel, where we were ushered to comfortable chairs in the lobby & offered welcome drinks of our choice while the staff took care of our luggage. After we had rested & had our drinks, a nice gentleman with a laptop came over to do the check in, explain the dinner... More

The Prince is a 10 storey somewhat modern hotel on a beachfront property 10 minutes by taxi from the JR station. On reading some of the other reviews we were expecting a huge room, but instead got a quite small room overlooking the beach, with a small onsen which comprised the balcony. No other space to sit outside. The buffet... More

We spent 1 night at the Yunokawa Prince and right from check-in we were treated like VIPs being given the red carpet treatment. After a 10 minute drive from Goryokaku Park and upon arrival, the bellhop unloaded our bags and the valet parked our car as we were ushered to the reception lounge. We were provided with welcome drinks from... More

Stayed with this hotel with my family of 6 on 16 May 2014, we took two taxi due to too many luggage. It cost us about $40 for two taxi to reach this hotel from Smile hotel. When we reach the hotel, we are lead to their lounge to rest and serve drink (complimentary). Choices of drink : wine, cocktail,... More

The Yunokawa Prince Nagisatei hotel is an older hotel but the room was huge with a separate tatami area and two onsens, one to soak in after bathing and one for just your feet. The room was very clean and had a small refrigerator and area to make your own tea. We had a sushi dinner in our own private... More

Greeted by staff's warm welcoming smile in a freezing and heavily snow weather in the evening, it was a heart-melting experience as if I was a VIP there. Several staff were running to us when we were crippling into the hotel in heavy snow. It was as if they were afraid a moment late would make us frozen.. though it... More

We visited in late September. This is a Japanese style hotel and staff speak virtually no English. However they manage to find one to do the checkin with us. Our room had onsen and sleeping was in tamami style . The room was roomy and Wifi was Yen 1000 for the whole stay. Breakfast and Dinner included were sumptuous and... More
