The parking security tell us to come in saying get a stamp from counter for room customer. But end up the parking is 1000Yen and no such things as stamp. First arrival, the guard just stand there looking at you struggling with your bags without helping with other car waiting at the back. Room were small but fully facilitated. Room... More

Our next stop was in the city of Hakodate, which is a city and port located in Oshima Subprefecture, Hokkaido, Japan. It is the capital city of Oshima Subprefecture. The city is now the third biggest in Hokkaido after Sapporo and Asahikawa. Today we checked in to the Hakodate Grand Hotel(formerly Chisun Grand Hakodate) Featuring modern interiors and free Wi-Fi... Great location, very affordable and clean. Staff were very helpful. Very kid-friendly - slippers for our baby, baby/toddler play area with blocks, books, tent and balls in the lobby, and even plastic bibs at the buffet breakfast. The toiletries were of particularly good quality, better even than the bespoke branded mini bottles we got in more expensive hotels. Hotel loans... More

High C/P value hotel. Location is near the famous ropeway station and the Europeanstreets. Room is a bit too small but it is clean. Generally is worthy to recommend to the travellers.

We got a room at either the 10th or 11th floor with a neat ocean view from our room. The location of the hotel is very central, ~10 mins walk to all the main tourist attractions, e.g. Mt Hakodate and the port. The room was very clean. Also the complimentary toiletries were wonderful. I felt my hair and skin were... More

This hotel was a bargain. It isn't new, the lobby is dated in design, but as with all Japanese hotels that I've been to it is immaculately kept. My hallway, on the 12th floor, was very clean; there were no stains on the carpet. The room is tiny. For someone over six feet tall it can be quite a challenge... More

Rooms were okay also came with free wifi. The rooms had a view of Mt.Hakodate. The location was amazing it took us a few minutes to walk to Hakodate Ropeway. There's a convenient store near the hotel, Lawson. Not sure what the buzz was about the coffee. The coffee wasn't really good. But overall, would love to stay here again... More

The hotel is very near to the tram stop. Stayed at the 10th floor and the views fron our room are simply spectacular! Facial steamer and massager can be found in the room. There are free desserts at the lobby for all guests. There's also a play area for the kids at the lobby. Convenience store - Lawson is right... More
