Comfortable hotel on the waterfront. Fisherman’s Wharf and Renga Robata restaurant a few minutes’ walk away. Kushiro Art Museum just opposite and Kushiro Washo Market 1 km away. Friendly and helpful staff speak English. Room is a spacious 25 sq metre, airconditioned with free wifi, and equipped with fridge, electrical kettle, electronic safe and humidifier. Kushiro is the major city sitting on the South Western corner of Hokkaido, when I say major city, it doesn't mean Tokyo type big city, in fact, Kushiro is a rather small fishing village with only about a hundred thousand resident. Kushiro itself is not a very popular destination for foreigner, hence non-Japanese speaking tourist may have a hard time... More

We stayed in several hotels around Hokkaido and while being the cheapest this was the best one. We booked a room last minute when the train to Abashiri was cancelled for three days so we stayed for two nights. The beds were comfortable, the view was fantastic and the location convenient.

Dear Annams A, Thank you very much for staying with us recently. It was such a big snow storm which stopped all the transportation toward Abashiri. However, we were so happy to hear you enjoyed your stay at ANA Crowne Plaza Kushiro. We are looking forward to welcoming you back in near future. Sincerely, More

We booked a twin room for 2 nights when we returned from Lake Akan. As you would expect from a Crowne Plaza hotel, the rooms are very well furnished and provide a high level of peace and quiet for a good night's sleep. The breakfast is basic but adequate (maybe due to the low occupancy in Dec). The WIFI signal... More

Check-in is the first impression one gets of a new hotel, and the staff at the ANA Crowne Plaza in Kushiro are very helpful and friendly. A warm welcome is always a good sign. The hotel is not completely new, but the rooms are very up- to- date. I had Room 1406, a very comfortable two- double bed room with... More

Love this hotel. Rooms are clean and with modern decor. Big room with view of the park and fisherman's wharf. Convenient location with covered car park. Had a great 2 night stay. Receptionists are friendly and helpful, though they do not speak fluent English, but with limited vocabulary, we managed to communicate. Next time if we visit Kushiro again, would... More

The Hotel upgaded my room as an IHG member. The corner room was large with a view of the Kushiro harbor and river. Needless to say the non smoking room was immaculate. For smokers they allow smoking on the 2nd floor alcove. The upgraded room was appreciated but more important was the help the staff provided to make our 1... More

Stayed here for two nights at the end of my trip to Hokkaido. I couldn't get into any hotels at Tsurui were I wanted to photograph the Red Crowned Cranes so decided to stay here and take the hit on the drive. This was the last hotel on Hokkaido after a three week trip to Japan. It was a perfect ending to a beautiful trip to Hokkaido to photograph the Red-crowned cranes, Stellar Eagles, White-tailed eagles, Whooper Swans and Black-eared kites. There are other birds to photograph as well. This hotel is very clean and the rooms are spacious! We had a... More
