The Crown Plaza is a very good choice to stay to catch a flight because of its proximity to Chitose airport (about a ten-minute drive). There is also a shuttle bus service, which runs every half an hour (if my memory serves me right ). Interestingly, there is also a bike rental offered... environmentally friendly hotel. Plenty of parking is... More

This is a beautiful hotel. The rooms were clean, and the right size. The hotel itself was a peaceful kind of quiet. The staff was polite and extremely helpful, if you needed directions or a meal recommendations they try their hardest to help. I give this hotel and staff an A++

Stayed at the Crowne Plaza near the train station and airport in Chitose twice this month. Once on the way to Niseko and once on the way back. Both visits were great examples of what EXCELLENT service should be. Upon arrival after a VERY long day of flights and connecting flights out of Tokyo I just wanted to get checked... More

We stayed here for a night after arrival before departing for Niseko the next day. I think the website states you get free shuttle from airport to hotel but there isn't such service. Fortunately, the hotel is really near and we took a cab from airport which cost us 1800Yen only. The rooms are rather large in comparison to rooms... More

A great place to stay, great value for money, friendly staff, a good breakfast buffet, clean rooms and a shopping mall close by, next year will surely stay here again, The hotel also offer a free shuttle service to the airport, best to book a place on the bus in advance

Only spent the one night here after arriving by plane at the nearby Chitose Airport. The rooms are a reasonable size and very clean and comfortable. Most importantly, the bathroom is a good size when most Japanese bathrooms in hotels are small fibreglass modulesbat the ANA hotel it is more a regular western size. It was a pleasant surprise. The... More

The non-smoking room is a standard Crowne Plaza size. But there are no non-smoking floor, and the smoking rooms are next to non-smoking rooms. The room itself did not stink but the hallways stank horribly. Higher end Japanese hotels have a smoking room but do not allow smoking in the rooms, from IHG property, I expected a higher standard than... More

Stayed overnight to break up our trip from Australia to Niseko and also spend a few hours in the outlet mall nearby. Clean and reasonable room. But no transfer bus from the airport and only a few to the airport in the mornings. Eat in restaurants around the hotel rather than in the hotel.

After having our flight cancelled out of Sapporo we booked the Ana Crowne Plaza at the last minute out of desperation. Though there is no shuttle service from the airport to the hotel, a taxi only cost 1800 yen (approx aus $20) and the taxi man could not have been more helpful! He packed all of our suitcases and snowboard... More

This hotel is only 2 train stops away from the New Chitose airport and is ideal for overnight or short stay. The room size is bigger than the typical hotel rooms in bigger cities such as Tokyo and Osaka, but still pretty small. The hotel front desk staff is friendly but speaks very little English. Wifi is free but TV... More
