For the non-Japanese visitor, this ryokan gives a glimpse into a way of life that is both gracious, unhurried and supremely refreshing. I only wish we could have stayed more than two days! For the international visitor, just a few days here, and a visit to the amazing Izumo Taisha Shrine will give you a rare and memorable experience of Japan. I booked this hotel for my parents and grandmother as a present. I don't know if there's any local transportation to get there but we drove. This ryokan is walkable to Tamatsukuri Shrine. and it's about a 10min drive to Yaegaki Shrine. The ryokan have a beautiful Japanese garden that the former emperor had a rest once. You can have...
