This is a fantastic inn/hotel. Wonderful staff, beautiful large rooms. Fantastic collection of art. Incredible Kaiseki food! Clean, comfortable, classy. A lovely onset macho too. If you could be there during cherry blossom season, WOW.

Shiraishiya shows you what Japanese service and hospitality are about. No matter most of the staff struggle with English, someone will be there to understand what you need and they'll deliver what you need, while always making you feel comfortable and welcome. We stayed here one night for sightseeing in Shimane. The stay includes Onsen(hotspring), dinner, and breakfast. The room is traditional Japanese style room w clean two futons, bathroom, and shower.
