I looked around Matsue for the best value for a family of three. We like sleeping on the floor on the futons, it's safer for our 2 year old daughter and more what were used to at home, and Notsu Ryokan had the best deal. No need to get food in the room, there are tons of great restaurants nearby.... More

I really enjoyed my time at Notsu Ryokan. The staff were all very friendly and willing to help with anything. My room was amazing; a traditional Japanese style (futon on the floor) with everything well-kept and clean as well as modern toilet and shower rooms. Modern style Ryokan with high quality rooms, but very limited service (no towels in the O’furu ~ unheard of!)
