We stayed three nights at the ANA Hotel Okayama as a handy base to explore the city's main attractions, as well as a couple day trips to Takamatsu in Shikoku and nearby Kurashiki. The hotel seems to be near-new, and it's a handy walk across a pedestrian bridge from the main station promenade. Our room was comfortable but unremarkable. We... More

The hotel is located right next to Okayama Station, which is convenient for arriving on the bullet train and for day-trips. We walked from the hotel to Korakuen Park and Okayama Castle, and took the train from Okayama Station to Yasugi Station --- both convenient and easy to navigate. The staff were truly wonderful, going above and beyond to help... More

Very nice hotel across a pedestrian bridge from the station. Large and comfortable room by Japanese standard. We had gorgeous views from our 16th floor room. You do not hear train or street noise. Lots of food and shopping at the station. Great use of IHG points if you have them. Really enjoyed our short 2 day stay.

what a pleasure to have the executive suite, three full rooms, and the best equipped bathroom in the area with automatic toilets that open up as you approach. fully stocked with lush bathroom amenities, VERT large screen flat HDTV, and easy wireless throughout. Great breakfast room choices. Lots of outlets for our toys. Stay here, a short trip from the... More

Great location, reasonable price( paid only usd 110 for single room with breakfast) , many choice of breakfast and nice view. Wifi is available. I chose this place because the hotel was fully booked in Osaka. Still a lot cheaper. Sincerely recommended.

We spent one night only at this hotel before heading to Hiroshima. The service and breakfast was great. (top floor) Location is superb! Very close to Okayama train station. Wi-fi is complimentary which was very hand. All in all we would recommend this hotel if you are happy to pay the price.

Whenever I go to Okayama to visit my ancestor's grave I choose this hotel. As described in many comments this hotel is directly connected to Okayama station. Just in front of this hotel there is a bus terminal bound for Okayama airport. It's convenient for both of people who use JR line and airplane. The atmosphere of the hotel is... More

This extremely comfortable hotel can be accessed directly from the railway station using a walkway and escalator. Staff, as in every hotel during this trip, were extremely cordial, attentive and courteous always. The room was a good size: clean, modern, comfortable. Wifi was complimentary. We didn't have breakfast in the hotel during our two day stopover but enjoyed a very... More

Their breakfast is very high quality; well presented and served at the top floor where you can enjoy good view of Okayama city. It is very comfortable to stay here. You can ask for wifi access, too, a rare opportunity in Japan.

We stayed here for a total of four nights (split into two separate stays). The quality of the room was good-- clean, comfortable and spacious by Japanese hotel room standards. Nice, comfortable beds and bath. The location can't be beat....you simply exit Okayama station (don't quote me but I believe it was the west exit), take an escalator down from... More
