The Granvia Kyoto seems to get great reviews (especially from Fodorites) & so I expected the Granvia Okayama to be good. It wasn''t so great - we had to wait until 2pm to check in (no early check in - which is fine I guess) but upon check in I went back to reception as the carpet in the room... more
We stayed for 4 nights and used Okayama as a base for touring to Matsue and Shikoku. You could also easily visit Hiroshima and Himeji from here with a rail pass of course.
