At first we got a dirty room and we asked for another room. the second room was a bit cleaner but still not very clean. the bath/toilets in the room is the smallest i have ever seen in my life. Excellent. 15min easy walk (or tram) from Okayama rail station, welcome coffee (free and really good too), clean, comfortable room, perfectly acceptable buffet breakfast included in price, close to park, castle, shops and restaurants. After reading all the excellent reviews about this hotel, I've decided to try it out and stayed for 7 days. This hotel is immediately adjacent to the tram stop at Shiroshita, which is also the centre for the main attractions of Okayama, the gardens, the castle and the river. Great hotel with lots of useful facilities. We had booked 2 nights but extended our stay because it was so good. The room was spacious & aurt by Japanese standards albeit with a tiny bathroom.
