Easy to find and close to local sights like the canal. Desk staff speak English. Good Japanese and English buffet breakfast. Sadly, the wifi is only in the lobby but is free. Rooms have good heating but are not sound proof.

Good location. Only 5min. walk to the historic centre. The rooms are good and clean, but missed the free wifi at the room. I was here for business and missed an ironing machine. The breakfast buffet was good. A large selection of Japanese and international food is available.

We stayed here while on a tour of Japan. The hotel was quite satisfactory. The room was extra large by Japanese standards and even included as sofa. It had twin beds and was very clean. The beds were very comfortable. There was a desk and a chair and a small refrigerator. There was no in-room wifi but there was a... More

This hotel is very good. Nice rooms and a location very close to the centre without being in the middle of it. And restaurants / cafes just next door. The breakfast menu is equally good and good value for money. If booked beforehand (evening before) you get it with a discount.

This hotel used to be called the Resol. The furnishings and fittings were fine but you might think them a bit dated. The one big plus was the size of the room. By Japanese standards it was huge and a welcome change. We only stayed one night with our tour party but enjoyed it. Breakfast was excellent. Only a very... More

Walking into the lobby of this hotel gives you the first clue of your experience ahead. The pleasant staff greets you upon your arrival. The lobby is decorated very elegantly and has classical music playing. The hotel is located on a peaceful side street that is right across from the canal area with the shops and Bikan area. The rooms were... More

If you are in Kurashiki to see the historical area then this is the hotel for you. Just five minutes out of the hotel and you in the historical canal area where I spent the whole day. The hotel is about 20 mins from the JR Kurashiki station, which is the downside. However, the foyer is big and welcoming and... More
