Just across the intersection at the start of the canal and right next to Ohashi House, Dormy Inn is in the perfect location to explore Kurashiki. If you ever stayed in a Dormy Inn before, it's exactly the same. Perfectly clean, small rooms with free wifi. Perfect for a traveler on a budget! Definitely would return!

Thank you for your staing at Dormy Inn Kurashiki Hotel. It is good for us that you had comfortable stay at Dormy Inn Kurashiki Hotel. But we don't have perfect service 'Omotenashi' for our guests. And so we will learn customer service lot more for our guests. We have 52 hotels in Japan ,Sapporo ,Tokyo ,Osaka ,Kyoto・・・ If you have... More

We really enjoyed the onsen of the hotel, especially the onsen under the open sky. The massage was a little bit different than we are used to get in Europe, but the result was fine. We used the washing machines and dryer to do our laundry. It is very convenient for travelers:)

The hotel is just next to the major sightseeing place in Kurashiki but a little bit far from the JR station by walk. We used the taxi when we checked out to JR station and it is cheaper than other cities with around 600 Yen. We only stayed one night but overall experience is very good. The room is very... More

Stayed here for 2 nights visiting Kurashiki. Hotel is a 10 min walk from the station and has very nice rooms. Wifi reception is good, nice onsen, up-to-date pc in the lobby, free noodle snack in the evening and a convenience store just around the corner. All these services makes this hotel a great place to stay!

Located in the resort town of Kurashiki, the hotel is about a ten minute walk to/from the JR Kurashiki station. A taxi will be about 660 yen. Dormy inn is located just off the Chuo Dori. As with other Dormy Inns, this one also has a nice onsen hot spring on the 9th floor. The hotel rooms have double rooms... More

I really like the Dormy Inn chain. You always know what you're getting and in my opinion it is good quality value for money. As previous posters have said, it's very conveniently located (just keep in mind the entry is not on the main street, but just around the corner.) There is a convenience store on the corner which is... More

Stayed for a week in this friendly and best value/quality hotel in beautiful Kurashiki. Twin room was surprisingly big, beds really comfy. The only negative thing - there was no wardrobe or closet, so all our clothes were on chairs and tables. Onsen was nice, there was one pool inside and other outside. To be in hot water in cool... Dormy Inn is an excellent budget choice in Kurashiki, with extras I wouldn't have expected in a budget hotel. Its location is fantastic, just across the road from the entrance to the Bikan historical district, and an easy 10 minute walk from the station on flat ground. (When you come out of the station, take the exit for the Bikan... More

Stayed here two nights, great location in Kurashiki, only a 10 minute walk from the station. The staff were nice although most didn't speak any English (but we're in Japan so that's obviously understandable). The facilities are great - onsen on the 9th floor is an excellent bonus. The breakfast is fantastic, and they even serve soba noodles complimentary after... More

We are seasoned Japan travelers but we came with friends from Hawaii who were here for the first time and Dormy Inn made everyone happy. The hotel is far enough from the train station so there is no train noise, plus it is right across from the entrance to the Historical District and great food. Clean, smoke-free rooms with a...
