I stayed here for a trip to the Murodo. It was not easy at the first time to find a hotel from the station. Finally, I could manage to find it. This hotel is different from many hotels I used to stay in Japan. You have to take off you shoes and keep it on the downstairs. It is like... More

This is really a great japan style hotel. They have very good Japan style breakfast as well. Although the reception staff English may be not good enough, overall the service is great. There is wifi inside the room with good signal. Male bathhouse is great, but female bathhouse is comparatively small. Strongly recommend to stay in this hotel.

I stayed 4 nights in this hotel, from 8-12 October, and really enjoyed my stay. The hotel is located to the right from the North Exit of the Toyama Station, just a couple of doors down from Hotel Tateyama. Location wise, it was fantastic. I had to rush to the JR Office at 10pm one night to change my train... More

A typical Japanese business hotel that is squeaky clean (no shoes upon entry), extremely environmental friendly (large selection of toiletry for you to choose and take as needed to your room), provides high sleeping quality and reasonably good Japanese breakfast. Rooms are small Japanese style and my family of three had to stay in two adjoining rooms. The hotel has... More

We booked this hotel through its website. It is about 3 mins walk away from the JR Toyama station. We had our luggages sent to this hotel (1200 Yen each) from Shinano Omachi at the start of the tateyama kurobe alpine route. It provides a modern experience of staying in a ryokan. Since flooring is tatami mats, so one must... More

The hotel is very close to toyama and few minutes walk to dentesu toyama station (just beside toyama station). It was really a great experience to be staying in this hotel, where shoes are not allowed inside the hotel. Shoes locker was provided just right in front of the lobby. So once we got into the hotel, we had to... More

Exit from the south exit of the JR Toyama Station if you are arriving by train. The hotel is on the right upon exit (less than 5 min walk). The hotel staff were patient and eager to please despite speaking little English. And even though this is not a luxury setup, I thought the room was lovely and very well... More

This is a small but very nice hotel. Granted, it is not a luxury 5 star hotel. However, it exceeds my expectation in many ways. The hotel is conveniently located within 3 minutes walk from the Toyama JR Station. We used the hotel as the base for our vacation around the Toyama prefecture area and stayed there 3 times for... My friend had a bit of reluctance when I recommended Wakyu to her for the first time because she saw the room looks a bit plain and small in the hotel website. However, after I told her it is no. 1 in trip advisor among Toyama hotels, she finally agreed to give it a try. The hotel is located close... More

It's a nice hotel to sleep with nice Rooms with breakfast and onsen. A bit expensive for being a place like Toyama but the city is a base to go to the Alpine route. The price was 11000 yen for two persons with breakfast.
